I found a "temporary" another solution to fix the issue where the ESC, Backspace, and Space keys do not work when using the Polygonal Lasso Tool in Photoshop. I’m not sure why this happens, but it works properly when working within a single document.  However, if you open another file to work on, you’ll need to apply the same method again before continuing.   The method is as follows: first, click on the three dots in the Contextual Task Bar and select 'More Properties.' This will cause the border of the Document Properties window to appear in blue. In that state, repeatedly expand or collapse the 'Canvas' or 'Rulers & Grid' menu a few times. 중요한 파일이라면 할 수 있는 유일한 방법이 한가지 있기는 합니다.   Adobe Creative Cloud를 열어서 내파일에 문제가 되는 PSD파일을 끌어다 놓으면 클라우드용 파일로 변환해야 한다고 나옵니다.  계속을 눌러 파일을 업로드 하면 PSDC 파일로 저장이 됩니다. (변환하는데 시간이 좀 걸립니다) 그걸 다시 다운받거나 포토샵에서 열기를 한 다음 PSD파일로 다시 컴퓨터로 저장을 하시면 됩니다.  ... View more

노트북에서 포토샵 실행하면서 나오는 문제에요.  노트북에 설치된 웹브라우저가 엣지, 크롬, 웨일등 너무 많아서 노트북에 기본 상주되어 있는 메모리양이 많기 때문에 포토샵이 메모리 할당량을 최적화 하는 과정에서 발생하는 문제입니다.  노트북이 LAN으로 연결되어 있는 것이 아니라 Wifi를 통해 네트워크에 연결되어 있으면 또 네트워크 접속하면서 로딩이 오래걸리는 경우도 있고, 백신 프로그램이나 방화벽에서 포토샵의 네트워크 접속을 검사하면서 또 로딩이 오래걸리는 문제도 있습니다.   방화벽에서 포토샵을 예외항목으로 등록을 해주는 것도 하나의 방법이고, 브라우저를 한개만 남기고 싸그리 날리는 방법도 하나의 방법일 수 있습니다. 저는 크롬까지 날리고 엣지만 사용합니다. Remove tool을 비롯하여 Ai를 활용하는 모든 기능들은 그래픽카드의 성능에 영향을 받습니다. 강제종료되는 이유는 그래픽카드가 모바일용 (Geforce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU 이하)인 경우이거나 그랙픽 카드가 보급형 (RTX3060 이하)인 경우가 많습니다.  또 GPU 메모리 최소 4GB 이상은 되어야 튕기지 않습니다. 그렇다고 사용을 아예 못하는 건 아니고 포토샵의 설정에서 Image Processing  항목에 들어간 다음 설정값을 Fast에서 More Stable로 변경해 주시면 속도는 느리지만 튕기지는 않습니다.  ... 레이어와 블렌딩 설정에 대한 정보가 없어서 단정적으로 말씀드리기 어렵지만, 저렇게 나오는 경우는 대부분이 브러쉬를 그릴 때, 모드가 디졸브 (Dissolve)로 되어 있을때 나오는 현상과 100% 일치합니다. 지우개 툴에서는 모드를 선택할 수 없으니 저렇게 나오지는 않을 텐데 지우개 툴에서 저렇게 나온다면 의심할 수 있는 건 흰색 백그라운드위에 사진레이어가 올라가 있고 레이어 블렌딩 모드를 Dissolve 모드로 놓은 경우라고밖에는 생각이 안드네요. ... View more

질문하신 문제가 발생하는 이유는 여러가지 복합적인 원인이 얽혀있어서 컴퓨터와 포토샵, 라이트룸 세가지의 설정들에 대한 정보가 나와있지 않는 이상 정확한 진단을 내려드리기 어렵습니다. 일단 기본적인 방법들 몇가지 알려드리겠습니다.    제일 빠른 방법 1. 라이트룸 기본 설정에서 Photoshop에서 편집을 위해 내보낼 때 기본 설정을 수정하지 않은 상태라고 한다면 Tiff 파일에 색공간은 ProPhoto  16비트로 되어있을겁니다.  라이트룸의 설정에서 외부편집(External Edit)- Edit in Photoshop - 파일형식을 PSD / 색공간- sRGB / 8bit 로 변경해주세요. 그럼 일반 JPG 이미지 수정하는 것처럼 수정의 폭이 좁아지기는 하지만, 인쇄용이 아닌 웹용이나 인화용으로는 문제가 없습니다.     2. 포토샵에서 Ctrl+Y를 눌러서 저해상도 인쇄설정(?)- View- Proof Setup 기능을 꺼보세요.  보통 포토샵에서 색상이나 밝기가 확 틀려지는 경우는 사용자가 이 기능을 켜놓은 상태인 경우가 많습니다.  이게 무슨 역할을 하는거냐면 인쇄를 하기 전에 출력하거나 웹상에 업로드 할 때 어떻게 보이는지를 미리 확인해 보는 기능입니다.     라이트룸에서 Raw파일을 ProPhoto 16bit로 작업을 해놨는데, CMYK를 지원하는 인쇄기에서 돌렸을 때 색이 최대한 유사해 보이도록 보정을 해야 하는 경우에 사용하는 기능인데, 일반적인 사용자들이 다른 단축키를 누르다가 실수로 켜놓는 경우도 있으니 확인해 보시기 바랍니다.   3. 모니터 칼리브레이션을 하셨으면 윈도우의 모니터 프로파일에 칼리브레이션을 한 프로파일을 등록이 제대로 되어 있는지 확인하시고 칼리브레이션을 하지 않았다면 모니터 프로파일을 비워놓지 말고 sRGB를 찾아서 등록해주시거나 제조사에서 제공한 프로파일을 등록해 주세요. 이 기능이 윈도우11에 추가된 색 자동관리 (ACM) 기능하고 프로파일끼리 꼬일때도 이런 문제가 발생하기는 합니다. ... I've been using Photoshop since 1994, but the problem that's bothering me right now is that when I use the Polygon Lasso tool, the Space and BackSpace keys often don't work at all, just like the problem the author mentioned above. I've been having this ridiculous problem for over two years now, where I'll be working intently for over a minute, tracing the outline of an image with the Polygon Lasso tool, and then when I try to move the screen with the Space key, neither the keyboard nor the mouse buttons work and there are tons of people in the Adobe community raising issues about this, but Adobe officials just throw their hands up in the air because they've never experienced it and can't reproduce the symptoms.   All Adobe has been saying is that you can reset your preferences, but that doesn't work at all - not even if you reset three or four times, not even if you update your graphics card drivers, not even if you format your computer, reinstall Windows, and then install and run Photoshop right away. I'm not paying for Photoshop to work on one or two photos, I'm working in Photoshop with over 200 layers in my main working PSD and dozens of clipping masks and adjustment layers, and I'm supposed to just open up a few photos with barely a single layer, test them out, and then sit back and say the problem isn't reproducible?   ... 해외에서는 2년전부터 제기되어 왔던 문제인데 어도비에서는 해결할 능력도 없고 문제에 대한 인식조차도 없습니다.    올가미툴을 사용했을 때 BackSpace키와 스페이스바를 포함 관련된 모든 키보드의 입력에 정상적으로 반응하지 않는 이유는 올가미툴을 선택했을 때 올가미툴에 사용되는 단축키가 정상적으로 할당이 되어야 하는데 포토샵이 이 기능을 제대로 호출해 주지 않아서 윈도우의 단축키와 충돌이 나면서 발생하는 문제입니다.    쉽게 이해를 시켜드리면 올가미툴을 선택한 상태에서 아무것도 클릭하지 말고 그대로 alt+Space 키를 눌러보세요. 정상적인 상태라면 올가미툴에 할당된 alt+Space키는 화면 축소가 되어야 하며, 마우스의 커서가 돋보기 아이콘으로 바뀌어야 합니다. 하지만 포토샵에서 단축키를 제대로 할당을 하지 못한 경우라면 올가미툴을 선택한 상태에서 alt+space키를 눌렀을 때 윈도우 활성창 바로가기 풀다운 메뉴가 실행됩니다.  (원래 윈도우 기능의 단축키 입니다) 이 상태에서는 스페이스바도 안되고 백스페이스키도 먹지 않습니다.    이 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 포토샵이 정신을 차릴 수 있도록 다른 프로그램을 띄우는 방식으로 소위 포토샵을 리프레쉬 시켜줘야 합니다.  그 방법으로는 윈도우키를 눌러서 윈도우 메뉴창이 뜨게 한다거나 작업관리자를 실행시키거나 아니면 alt+Tab을 눌러서 다른 프로그램이 활성화 되도록 했다가 다시 포토샵으로 돌아가는 식으로 윈도우 메모리상에 상주해 있는 포토샵의 데이터를 리프레쉬 시켜주는 방법밖에는 없습니다.    그리고 나서 올가미툴을 선택한 상태에서 alt+space키를 눌렀을 때 마우스 커서가 올가미툴에서 돋보기 축소 아이콘으로 변경이 되면 정상적으로 사용이 가능해 진 것입니다.  이게 한번 고쳐졌다고 해결되는 것은 아니고 다른 이미지를 작업한다거나 레이어가 여러개인 파일에서 레이어를 변경했을 때 또 다시 문제가 발생할 수 있습니다. 다른 툴을 사용하다가 다시 올가미 툴을 사용할려고 했을 때도 다시 문제가 발생할 수 있습니다.  이럴때는 역시나 마찬가지로 포토샵을 정신차리게 한다고 생각하시고 윈도우키 눌렀다가 esc키로 닫은 다음 포토샵에서 alt+Space키를 눌러 아이콘이 바뀌는지 확인하고 작업하면 됩니다.    이 부분에 대해서 추가로 의심되는 부분은 포토샵의 고질적인 문제인 alt키 버그와 관련된 내용인데 올가미툴과 alt키가 무슨 상관이냐고 할 수도 있겠지만 저는 이 문제가 포토샵의 alt키 버그와 관련된 것이 아닌가 생각하고 있습니다.  ... The most effective, albeit temporary, workaround we've found so far is to press Alt+Space before using Lasso tools to make sure the shortcut works as expected. Pressing Alt+Space with the Lasso tool selected should, under normal circumstances, change the mouse cursor to a zoom out icon. In this case, you can use the Lasso tool's BackSpace, ESC, and the + and - keys on the numpad as normal. However, if you press Alt+Space and a pull-down menu appears to resize the Photoshop window, you will not be able to use the normal keyboard shortcuts in LassoTool. The workaround that others have suggested is to run Reset all Tools to reset the tools, but this is not a perfect solution because it is specific to the layer of the image you are working on. When you select a different layer or work on a different image, it will be turned off again and you will have to run Reset all Tools again.   This is the best method .  Press the Windows key to make the Windows menu window appear above Photoshop, then press the 'Windows key' again or press 'ESC' key to make it disappear, then press alt+Space and check  mouse cursor changes to the zoom out icon.   I've used the Windows key as an example, but the bottom line is that any method of refreshing Photoshop's memory that resides in Windows memory will work. For example, Alt+Tab to open another program window or launching the Task Manager can be a good way to refresh Photoshop's tangled memory. ... View more

The most important part of this is to press alt+Space once before using Lasso Tools, and then use Lasso Tools, which will at least minimize the frequency of the problem. It won't work every time, but it's a good idea to get in the habit of pressing alt+Space once before working.    Here's how I found it. First, with the file you want to work on open and the tool specified as LassoTool, try pressing the Alt+Space shortcut. This will change the mouse cursor to a magnifying glass, and LassoTool will work as normal. If the pull-down menu appears in the top left corner of the screen when you press Alt+Space, go to the tool's settings and click Reset All Tools. If the pull-down menu does not appear when you press Alt+Space and the mouse cursor changes, you should be able to work with Lasso Tools from then on.   This can happen again if you change layers or zoom out or in on the screen. With this in mind, if you change the layer you're working on or work on a different image, you'll need to redo the above method. ... View more

I tried resetting all of my settings and then setting up Photoshop again to fix this issue, but it didn't work. What I did instead was to enable the Flick Panning feature to fix the issue. Personally, I use Flick Panning with it turned off, and when it's turned off, the Lasso tool has issues.  If I re-enable Flick Panning and then re-launch Photoshop, the Lasso tool works fine after that, at least to some extent. I'll have to test this further to see if it's a perfect fix, but so far it's working for me.    ________ In the end, it failed. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the Flick Panning feature. The most effective method so far seems to be to try resetting the settings at least 3 times and then letting Photoshop run, which seems to minimize the problem. Photoshop CC 24.1.1 OS : Windows 10    This doesn't happen every time, but sometimes when I'm zoomed in on an image and I'm using the Lasso tool to select an area, and I try to backspace to go back to the previous state, the backspace key doesn't work and I can't move the screen by pressing the spacebar. Hi Daniel  I saw your video tested with Single layer image and I'm honestly disappointed that the development team set this up and tested this problem. We've been using Photoshop for more than 20 years because it's the only tool that can create something from nothing through the numerous layers and mask blending options that only Photoshop can handle. This is not a working environment for simple calibration of one or two pictures. In my case, there are more than 100 layers per PSD file on average, and masks are applied to each layer, and I am working on creating images through various blending options. File capacity is often as low as 200mb to 1.7G. But I think there are a lot of problems in this situation where developers are testing to solve the problem, and there is no problem when they adjust the curve value to the image of a single layer.   If you need my PSD files just tell me your e-mail address ...
