Have you tried uninstalling the 64 Bit version of Adobe and using the 32 Bit instead? It's the only one that has worked for me. I haven't had the issue in months. Just make sure you remove all the automatic updates. Once Adobe updates, it install the 64 Bit version on your computer and it will start having the same issue.

I had an issue with the Ctrl+ any shortcut letter. I would get the exception error. I also did the Hub Tool but it never fixed the problem. I just found out that I've been running the 32 Bit version of Adobe and it's the only thing that stopped the error. It seems like the 64 Bit version of Adobe isn't functioning correctly with some users. Ever since I installed the 32 Bit version and disabled ALL automatic updates my issue has disappeard. If you don't disable automatic updates, Adobe will install the 64 Bit version when it updates and the problem will start again. I dont know if this will help you but i've been working with it fine for the last couple of months, no error messages and I can use the shortcut keys while QB & Adobe are open.

I am running the newest version of Adobe now. I came to the conclusion that it doesn't matter what version you are running since everytime I had to reinstall it, I would end up with the new version but in 32 Bit.

After some more digging I did find and confirm that this is the 32 Bit version of Adobe. I also decided to test which version works with Quickbooks to make sure. I uninstalled what I currently had on my desktop and installed the 64 Bit. I checked for the error and sure enough, if I have Quickbooks open, Adobe doesn't function correctly. So I uninstalled the 64 and reinstalled the 32 and no error. I still have to disable the auto updates because once Adobe updates, it installs the 64 Bit and I will get the error again.

I hope i'm not right but I have two computers that have had the same issue and my desktop has had this issue twice. The issue always starts after an automatic update. Ever since I disabled Automatic Updates, it hasn't had any issues, Now, the crazy thing is that I can manually update Adobe and its fine.

I'm positive this isn't the 32 Bit version. I actually haven't had any issues with Adobe since disabled all of the updates on Adobe. The external link is legitimate and it is directly from the Adobe website. I haven't had anymore issues with Adobe since September and it was only when Quickbooks was open. I don't think the version of Adobe matters, I think it has something to do with the Automatic Updates. The issue only arises when the automatic updates are enabled.

When you choose the Windows 11 operating system, it doesn't give you the option of choosing 64 or 32 Bit from the Version drop down menu.

This is the install on my computer. I think whatever happens thats causing this issue has something to do with the updates. Once I removed automatic updates all around, my Adobe hasn't had any issues. But you have to disable automatic updates even on the back end.

Hi there. I had this issue for about 6 months after I installed Windows 11. The following is the only thing that has worked for me so far: I found a fix for anyone else having this issue. First you have to uninstall Adobe, I used Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html . Then I found this version to install: https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ . You have to disable automatic updates if not, the program will automatically update itself before you even get started. I used these two methods to disable automatic updates for adobe: How to Disable Automatic Update in Adobe Reader DC - wintips.org - Windows Tips & How-tos Automatic Updates - Adobe Acrobat and Reader I don't know why this is the only version of Adobe that will work with Quickbooks. You have to make sure that you DO NOT have automatic updates set up because once Adobe updates to the newer versions, you can't use QB and Adobe at the same time. I hope this helps. Good luck!

If it worked well I would go to the paid one since I can update Adobe with no problem but until this issue is resolved I am not paying for anything.

I did downgrade but it has to be this specific version Adobe Reader. If it automatically updates, as soon as it does, the error is back. Thats why you must disable automatic updates.

No, Acrobat DC Pro and Creative Cloud. Like I said, the only version of Adobe that will work with Quickbooks without getting the 0xc0000139 error when hitting the CTRL key is the one in this post. All other versions i've tried glitch when ever I use the CTRL key shortcut while QB is open.

Already tried this fix and it didn't work. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Quickbooks, to no avail. I thought maybe Adobe wanted me to purchase their product but I tried doing the Adobe Pro free trial and i'm still getting the same error.

Hello,
I have been having this problem for almost a year and I haven't been able to find a solution. Sometimes, the problem fixes itself overnight only for it to happen again during the day at some point. I have Windows 11 running and Quickbooks Enterprise V22. If I want to print a PDF file, I have to do it manually without using the CTRL key as a shortcut. When I do, I get the Exception processing message 0xc0000139 unexpected parameters error. I have tried every fix in the forums, I have contacted Quickbooks/Intuit which said this is an Adobe problem. I am at my wits end. I thought maybe getting the paid subscription would help but it did't. I currently have the trial version of Acrobat DC Pro running but will not pay for the full version if I keep getting this error message. This is horrible! I need to be able ot use my shortcut keys and I need to be able to have QB open since this is the program I constantly use. It doesn't make sense for me to log off/on QB since I need to use it ALL THE TIME. PLEASE HELP!
