WOW @bernd_0449 YOU SAVED THE DAY!   It was indeed the SuperPNG plugin causing the issue. I can't believe it, after 9 months I've finally been able to actually use the Generate Image feature.   I might be wrong but I believe that since the SuperPNG plugin is a File>Save As plugin (and not a Filter), Photoshop still loads with it even after using the Shift Key trick, that's why it kept producing black textures when launching PS without 3rd Party Plugins (again, I could be wrong).   I honestly hope and wish Adobe can come up with their own (better and improved) PNG and DDS plugins so that we don't have to use SuperPNG and/or Intel's or Nvidia's Plugins for DDS.    Thank you @bernd_0449 ! ... I do have that SuperPNG Plugin as well. And if I try to generate an image in a new layer, running the same prompt it does work. It generates the grass textures. But that was never the problem in the first place. I never said the black images problem was happening in the release version. There's no PSD file. I literally just open Photoshop, create a new file, of any size. I've tried 512x512, 1024x1024, 2048x2048, etc, click on generate image, type anything that comes to mind and I get a black texture.   Do you need me to do that again and send that PSD file anyway?. ... View more

But erratically. Sometimes it just crashes Photoshop altogether, and Photoshop shuts down when the progress bar is reaching the end.   Most of the times, I can generate an image in the release version and keep generating variations until all of a sudden it crashes and closes. Seemingly very at random.   But this happenes with Photoshop Beta as well, and not just this latest version. It's been happening since the introduction of these AI features. I never reported it because I could live with that problem. I would simply launch Photoshop again and generate the image/variation again. But the Black Images problem is too much.   And before you suggest to reset Photoshop settings or any of the those workarounds, please let me assure you I've done my research, I've googled a lot and I've tried everything (resetting preferences, caché, updating my graphics card drivers, etc).   This is without a doubt a problem in the coding in Photoshop.   Thank you. ...
