I suggest adding a Reset button for the Freeze Mask in Liquify. Yep, we can use the "eraser" or click "Cancel" to quit the workspace and then load it again via the menu. But removing an unwanted mask in 1 click would be faster and easier.

As a timelapse and landscape photographer, I need this feature so much! Birds suddendly appear in different parts of the frame & look like rubbish in the final video. I know some tricks in AE/Pr how to remove them fast with the Lighten blend mode by duplicating the same footage and moving it 1 frame forward, but it doesn't always work perfectly. It often gives artifacts. Being a perfectionist, I do it manually frame by frame in PS with the Spot Healing brush. Can you imagine how time consuming it is? 300-500+ images to clean... At sunrise the birds wake up and are very active. Almost the same thing with the sunsets. That's why I need the feature like birds removal. I'm sure it would be useful for many landscape photographers. P.S. I can even provide a few timelapse series (hundreds of shots) to train your algorithms.

@Trevor.Dennis, yep, but how will it help to see the edges better?) you could suggest extending the canvas and then cropping it back 🙂 which is irrational I just liquified it by feel, it took two passes (didn't want to move the pixels too much).

I often change the bg color to make sure the image looks well, including the edges. Recently I was editing this one and realized that I miss the feature in the Liquify window (default gray doesn't allow to see the issue at all). So I suggest adding the option to change the background color in Liquify window 🙂

@D Fosse, surprisingly you're right, why does it say "Sample ALL layers" then? anyway, we also have dodge&burn above, which I prefer doing with black & white brush on a blank layer in Soft light, so it definitely affects the healing.

@Lumigraphics, can't they improve both? I think AI programmers and "classic" programmers are completely different people/teams, aren't they? if so, each can easily do their own job 🙂

where are your votes?) I'd use this to fix skin (and thousands of other retouchers would)

@D Fosse, it can be non-destructive on an empty layer, watch some retouching tutorials 🙂 LOL

@D Fosse, any pixel has a Saturation value, doesn't it? so, what's the problem to make a scale from 0 to 100 with 2 sliders?

Add "Current and below" for the Spot Healing Brush (just like in the regular Healing brush). Now if we have some color correcting adjustments above, we have to turn them on/off all the time when the is checked. Or we have to uncheck it and work destructively on the image layer itself (or on a copy, but it's desctructive editing anyway).

Add Blend if by Saturation! would save much time fixing over- and undersaturated areas.

@FauxtoGuy, if you claim to be a pro, you should be able to write your own basic actions. Search some articles and tutorials, there's a lot of information around.

What's the difference between these 3? esp. the 1st and 2nd P.S. You'd better make navigation for each of Adobe forums I've commented on. Now I just have to save some links in a document on my PC so I can quickly find them.

The only auto selection setting for layers I know is in the Move tool. (but I never make artboards, so I'm not sure if it works for you)

@Moritz26702779ec3v, in this case just duplicate the high layer, add a clipping mask and turn the Blend mode to Normal. You can't use an empty layer for that, but it's not a big deal. 🙂
