Do you mean in the individual layer tab? It plays at the same volume both as a layer, and in the containing composition.

I have some footage with audio that plays quietly in Premiere (I have to raise my Mac volume at ~90% to hear comfortably), but then when I replace parts of it with AE compositions, the very same clips play very loudly in AE. Due to this, I'm hurting my ears quite a lot because I forget to lower the volume when I switch to AE. I want to point out that there are no effects applied to the audio of the clips, nor to the tracks in the Audio Track Mixer in Premiere. Can someone help me understand what is wrong and how to avoid it? I've just run the same test in v25.1.0 BETA (Build 11), the latest beta that shows available at the moment on Mac, and I couldn't replicate the issue. That seems promising.

Today it happened again, after I drag&dropped an image from the Finder to a media bin in Premiere. I saved and closed, then re-opened Premiere to get rid of the automatic scrolling.

I didn't get to try that. After working for some time, switching back and forth between Premiere and After Effects, when I went back to the problematic folder, the issue was not happening anymore. But should it reappear, I will try your suggestion. Thanks.

After adding a clip to one of my project folders, the bin keeps on scrolling to the top automatically.
I closed and reopened the app, but the issue persists.
The issue happens only for that specifin folder, all others behave as usual.
Premiere Pro version is 24.5.0 (Build 57) on Mac OS Sonoma 14.5
