I completely agree. I'm editing a friend's book manuscript sent by the publisher in pdf, and I'm using Adobe Acrobat suite (monthly payment). Errors are at times introduced in the manuscript preparation process by the publisher, or there's a typo in the original .docx that was missed. So yes, there should be a powerful multi-lingual spellchecking tool in Adobe.
