"The funny thing is that it used to work fine for years and then suddenly stopped." This seems to be a recurring theme in the new versions of photoshop. I keep having to downgrade to get some work done. And I'm paying $6o some odd dollars a month for "privilege" to downgrade. Get you act together Adobe and just improve and NOT CHANGE tool behaviors.

It would be VERY nice and HELPFUL is Adobe Lightroom Classic exported Web Galleries included WebP and AVIF image formats. Also, if the web gallery added this behavior... When you click on a thumbnail and the larger (preferably WebP or AVIF) image appeared, there was a slideshow button so it would cycle through all the Web Gallery (again, preferably WebP or AVIF format) images. This would provide our customers with a Slide Show experience where they can sit back and enjoy the Web Gallery content.
If I am in error, please let me know what I need to do the accomplish this.
Thank you,
Nolan Conley

Well, let's see... If Adobe takes in an average of $30 from I guessing around a million "renters" of your software, that should provide you with about $30,000,000 a month. What have I done for myself? I should be serving my clients with fine software. Not spending my time troubleshooting.

I solved the problem, go back to Photoshop V.25.7 and the Liquify tool works.

I'm tired of the [abuse removed] at Adobe coming up with new ways to "improve" Photoshop. I have been paying good money to Adobe for at least 25 to 30 years. I want a Photoshop this is stable and works. Some of us actually use Photoshop for our occupation, so fix this bug in Liquify pronto. For those of you in Rio Linda and Adobe, that means fast! I'm 67 and I don't care what the excuse is... just get it done! Nolan Conley

Dreamweaver is a great product and I've been using it for years. I sure hope Adobe doesn't do something stupid like discontinue it. Anyway, Dreamweaver needs to embrace the WebP image format so it is prominently displayed and you don't have to dig for it. BTY, Photoshop is older than Dreamweaver and nobody want's to discontinue it!

It's getting to be a little terrifying like Reagan when he seriously joked "We're from the government and we're here to help".
Kinda beginning to sound like Adobe "We at Adobe have an UPGRADE for you and your life will be much better!"

No cigar for you... I AM running V21.1 and still have to reload my tool preferences every time I start Photoshop. For something I pay almost $60 a month... seems like Adobe could fix this NOW!

Thank you Jeffrey... just when I thought Adobe didn't care about us, you came through with a fix that we can live with! I appreciate your efforts and would appreciate it with "future major tool updates" like this one, if you would provide us with a "legacy button" in the preferences as you have here. The natives would not grow restless nearly as much!

I just did that also. Adobe, you are untrustworthy and your business model is awful. Your business model is irritate the customer until they leave. Well, I just left PS 2019 after the last update that NEGATED the fix for the transform tool screw-up . WHY FIX SOMETHING JUST TO UNFIX IT IN THE NEXT UPDATE!!! Nothing personal... but I'm sick of this and you, Adobe, are driving me to explore alternate solutions. Regretfully, Nolan Conley

Update... I have fixed the problem with an Adobe Chat tech. Here is the conversation and the fix. Do this exactly and PS2019 will transform like PS2018 did. I know it's a pain but it gets the job done. Shall I guide you with the steps so that you can perform them on your computer? ok Anusha Please close the Photoshop application. done To revert to the legacy transform behavior, do the following: 1. Use Notepad (Windows) to create a plain text file (.txt). 2. Type the text below in the text file: TransformProportionalScale 0 3. Save the file as "PSUserConfig.txt" to your Photoshop settings folder: Windows: [Installation Drive]:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2019\Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 Settings\ Please open the Photoshop application and check. inprocess Okay, please let me know if you face any issue. opening photoshop now Okay, please check the application now. That worked. That is great. The features are still the same in Photoshop 2019 version. just requires some steps to be performed. I really hate it when some engineer has a spasm and screws up the software we make our living on. There was nothing wrong with the Transform tool as it was. Please tell the higher ups at Adobe to quit trying to fix what isn't broken. Thank you for your help! Have a good evening.

I'm like you... have been using PS since V3. I've uninstalled PS2019 and just keep using PS2018 until someone at Adobe grows some common sense and this nightmare is fixed.

Not only the loss in production time... I'm afraid to upgrade any of my Adobe software. Trust is something you cannot buy... it has to be earned and my trust of Adobe went right out the window on this one! Furthermore, Adobe's lack of response and assurances that this disaster will be handled speaks volumes about how much they value their professional user base.

I personally am somewhat afraid to upgrade now. Seeing the caviler attitude of Adobe toward it's customers really bothers me. I simply don't understand why or who's idea it was to change a core function that improved nothing and impacted many professionals workflow. Were the little kids at Adobe bored and said "Gee... let's try this!" This attitude does NOT instill confidence in the customer's (read PROFESSIONALS) minds. Someone (or group) at Adobe needs a serious butt kicking.

Alexandra... Adobe has grown (with our money) to such a large behemoth that they really don't care what we (the people who pay) think. By ignoring all these complaints, the company is acting stupidly. Eventually, someone (or a company) will challenge Adobe with a competitive product and only at that time will Adobe realize the error of their ways.
