It's unlikely to be a bug on such an industry-standard application. There are some colour management experts on here who no doubt will offer some advice and information. One is an apostrophe the other a foot mark (a measurement mark) also known as Minute marks. Check your Glyphs to see which is which. The difference in design between the two will vary depending on the font you select. There's a useful facility in InDesign's Find/Change (found under the Edit tab) to change them all foot marks (straight) to apostrophe's in one go in InDesign text. ... View more

If you are not seeing a list of fonts in the Font drop-down menu, look to see if a filter has been applied. Alternativley, if you think you have an application corruption, reset the Photoshop Settings back to the factory defaults, which you can do under the Genearl tab in Settings and then close and reopen Photoshop. ...
