You have to add the PDFs into the RH project as baggage files - that way they get copied into the output folder when you generate.

Nope, that's a Frameless feature, not a Responsive HTML5 one.

IIRC if you edit a snippet, it opens in its own topic page - you can add or remove lines of headings, etc. provided you keep the HTML clean of styling. That way when you save the snippet and then look at it in the respective topics, it will take on the styling you've told it to use in the span class.

No, I agree that doesn't make much sense - I'd reach out & give the RJ folks a ping - see https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#robohelp for your Adobe Support options. I'd recommend using the tcssup@adobe.com e-mail address as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including RoboHelp.

I suspect that the OP has font styling of their <p> tag in the snippet, whereas you have left it plain in the snippet (right idea) & applied the styling outside of it.

Hmm, don't create PDF output so I haven't really looked at that bit - the fact that it appears on a new project, but not on an upgraded one, maybe indicates that if you create a new preset in the migrated project, it might appear. I think I've observed that the RH folks don't like monkeying around with pre-existing settings - they'd rather you create a new one to use whatever new thing they've created.

There should be new options available for the page properties of a PDF page layout templates (such as page size, orientation, layout, background, and footnote) but they are not showing up. Only the stylesheet option is availabe, just as it was in Update 3.
By @NoWeM
What led you to think that there would be these new properties present in the update? I don't recall anybody talking about that...

If it's just started with FM2019, the first thing I would try is to patch FM2019 to the highest version available and see if whatever is causing the crash has already been fixed. Next thing I would try is loading a trial version of FM2022 on a separate machine and testing it with a copy of your content - if that works, the solution is pretty clear - you need to upgrade. If that still doesn't fix it, then I'd ping the FM folks - see https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#framemaker for your Adobe Support options. I'd recommend using the tcssup@adobe.com e-mail address as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including FrameMaker.

I don't think Anchal is even with the FM team anymore - try reaching out to them through https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#framemaker for your Adobe Support options. I'd recommend using the tcssup@adobe.com e-mail address as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including FrameMaker.

A quick google reveals that there are issues with the way Safari renders tables - there may not be a way to change that.

That's kind of to be expected - all browsers have their own default CSS built into them, so the same HTML5 code will appear slightly different when displayed on Chrome/Edge or Firefox or Safari. What's the matter with how the tables are displaying?

You have to remember that there are 2 PDF creating engines in FM2022 - the older Print to Adobe PDF printer instance that uses Acrobat Distiller, or the newer PDF Publish method (includes Save as PDF). The newer Publish route has the option to flip back to use the older engine (as @FrameMaker-dk has shown).

If the print to AdobePDF doesn't produce any different results, then maybe it's got something to do with fonts? (just grasping at straws there)

Does making the PDF have any impact on the process? There are still two different PDF engines in FM2022 - print to AdobePDF printer instance (older) and the Publish route (which also includes Save As PDF) (newer). I don't think you mentioned HOW you were making the PDF.
