The bleed frame is set up with the extended dialogue of File > Document Set up… or New Document.… Thereiable wiidth of the required spine width you will get from your printer, not from a google calculator. With the same paper weight you might get different results as the thickness of the paper is not only influenced by the weight.

What font type is it? If it is a T1 postscript font, it is not possible any more. You would have to use a OTF or TTF font.

Most printers require 1 single PDF for the whole cover. The easiest way is to build it up as 3-page-spread and output it as a single spread

Für Umschläge gestalte ich 3-Seiten-Drucbögen, die ich als eine Seite ausgebe. Wenn sich der Rücken ändert (andere Drucerei, anderes Papier, erweiterte Kapitel) muss ich lediglich die mittlere Seite verändert werden muss.

instead of these dots I recommend to use a dottet stroke. Create a character style with underline. The underline uses a dotted stroke (you can either create or define one for yourself). The character style can be applied via nested styles automatically. These strokes show better regularity and are more flexible.

PNG kann ich nicht empfehlen. Kmmen die selben Bilder mehrfach vor? Schau dass die Links zum selben Original zeigen. Sind die Bilder in CMYK oder RGB? In InDesign sollten sie natürlich in RGB sein. WEBP würde ich auch nicht wählen. Welche Presets verwendest Du beim PDF Export? Welchen Inhalt hat Deine Datei? Welchen Seitenumfang? Welche Schriften verwendest Du? Bettest Du alle ein, oder nur den verwendeten SUbset? Letzteres kann bei OTF-Schriften einen kräftigen Unterschied machen.

Those objects must be 1bit (bitmap) or greyscale PSD or TIFF files without layers. 1bit allow also to interact with the color or transparency of the image frame.

Leave all images in RGB. If the printer requires CMYK images, convert them with the PDF export. To small? Image size has nothing to do with the color mode.

The presets are a combination for all settings which makes it easier to create PDFs. I create for each printer and purpose a different PDF presets. When you import/place PDFs to InDesign it schould always be PDF/X-4. When you export PDFs for a printer you should do it according the requirements of that printer. Save for each printer and product and ppurpose a specific preset as helps to avoid errors.

Are you sure you did not accidentally override and remove the running header? Are you sure that the header was not covered by content? To avoid this, work with layers and put page numbers and headers on a layer above all other layers. Could text wrap affect the content? Apply the used object style with the property to ignore text wrap. To get cleaner files, rename the generic names of masters/parents with more descriptive name and letters or numbers. Don't end up with several identical named masters/parents as it cause confusion.

Go to the link panel, seect the image and click the edit button. It opens the application which is in your OS choosen, to edit the selected filetype. You can double click with the direct selection tool on any image to open the application to edit that image.
