LrC may or may not have issues with CPU OC, appears to be some disagreement on that, may be a difference between OC via BIOS and third party App. And may be more of an issue in GPU OC. (this may be outdated info)   As for the GPU, apparently a heavy build into Gamer performance. Is their some GPU OC running that is not internal to the GPU settings? A third party App? Are those RAW files the normal Canon RAW or are they compressed? That PugetBench for Lightroom Classic plug-in. Is that for collecting benchmarks/statistics of LrC performance? Is it eating up resources? Fairly sure LrC AI DeNoise will not support compressed RAW.   /edit/ I state compressed RAW, but actually in that Nikon, you have Nikon  Full resolution  RAW and Small size format. Perhaps stating Small as compressed is wrong. And the Small is not what LrC is looking for. You can try in the Develop Module selecting all the photos in question, and have Auto Sync selected (if not already that way) bring up the mask panel for whatever photo is currently selected, and select to update all AI Masks.   It will take some time. ... View more

Another inquiry.   NVIDIA, so have you ever modified any settings in the NVIDIA Control Panel (NVIDIA Settings) ? If so, could a setting have been incorrect. If you have never brought up the NVIDIA control panel, then it is unlikely something is wrong in one of the settings (that would be at default) Some performance improvements can be had via the NVIDIA Control panel, their are videos on the web on that. Not a question I would normally ask, as LrC is such a resource hog compared to PS. And the ACR for PS is a plug-in instead of burnt in the program code in LrC, and I suspect PS has an easier time with the process, and a PS and a LrC DeNoise DNG may not equivalent. but.   Do you have the same problem if you try Enhance (AI DeNoise) in PS. That integrated Video Control (Processor), apparently a , Intel® UHD Graphics. may be deactivated in the BIOS. As such Windows would not see it. Not an issue. After the error occurs, you would need to restart LrC in order to change the use graphics processor option.   Now if that fails, then see Solution 3 in the following link. rgaengler   Your Camera RAW CACHE setting is at the default 5GB. Adobe should but has never changed that to something higher. The default is way too low for basically anyone. Especially anyone not limited to raster (JPEG) images at very small megapixels (old old cameras)   Try increasing that to at least 20 GB, maybe 50 GB if you have the room. ...
