I just tried it in build 13, and it works exactly as expected! Thank you SO much for this!

Hi Tom, I tried importing the attached MKV file from OBS to beta build 3, but it only reads one channel/stream. In Pot Player (that's its name) I can select which stream to play back, so the audio is there. NOTE: I had to rename the .mkv to .mp4 to be able to attach it here, so please rename it before testing it.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to hide tracks in Premiere Pro. If you can write (or find) a feature request for this, I'd vote for it. A far from perfect workaround is to create Track Height Presets where the unneeded tracks are at minimum height, while the tracks you need are at normal height. Bind this to a shortcut with just one key, and you can activate it with the push of a button (key). Another workflow would be to cut with few tracks, and then add the other tracks at the end, using Match Frame. It's a bit labor intensive, but can be done fairly quickly. I'm sure it could be done with a script too.

I passionately hate the new behavior. Default Scrolling behavior should be Global Zoom. The old "Zoom around mouse pointer" behavior was working against me when drawing masks. Global Zoom would be what most people expect. At least that's what people think when I'm doing training. Press and hold a modifier key to zoom around the pointer. I don't really care which one, but why not use the same one as AE? After Effects got this right. No need to reinvent the wheel. Use the same default behaviors as AE, and feel free to add other behaviors with other modifier keys. Just don't mess with the defaults. Love the new Zoom to Fit commands, though!

Feel free to send the MOGRT, but I think this workflow will only work when the image you drop in has exactly the same aspect ratio as the one used when building the MOGRT. If your expression could move the layer up and down based on the aspect ratio of the new image, it would work the way you want it to.

When you say it works in AE with no issues – do you mean it works when you put the comp into another comp and change the Essential Properties? Or do you mean it works if you Alt-drag a new image to change it? Premiere Pro should behave like the nested comp in AE does, when you change Essential Properties there. What kind of expression do you use to move the Anchor Point? Something like this? [0, 0] A workaround could be to have a guide layer that can be used to move the image into place. Then have a check-box to turn it off. Not ideal, but it would work.

For some reason, many of these keyboard shortcuts are not enabled for Norwegian keyboards (I'm on Windows). I did create my own for Fit in Program Monitor, and it works as expected.

Are you transcribing a sequence or source clips? Sounds like you're transcribing a sequence. You should transcribe the source clips.

I'm aware of the other Fit commands, but they require the Monitor panel to be active. My hope is that hte new one, being under Application, will work whatever panel is active. I wish we had the same functionality for Bypass Lumetri Color. I hate that the panel must be active for that one to work. Too many clicks!

FYI: Today I used a MOGRT that simply didn't work in the beta (build 91) by default settings. No pixels from the MOGRT showed. Switching to Software Rendering via the new option at start, the MOGRT works as expected. It also works as expected in the release version, even with GPU rendering. This shows how important it still is to have this option, as GPU rendering can't always be trusted.

Steps to reproduce: 1. Set a keyboard shortcut for Zoom Program Monitor to Fit (in the beta) 2. Try the keyboard shortcut Result: Nothing happens Expected: Program Monitor zoom level should be set to Fit System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v25.2.0.91 OS: Windows v10.0.26100, RAM: 127,69 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 32

That's a lot of clicking to acheive a simple transition. Wouldn't it be faster and easier to just make subclips and drag them to two placeholders in the MOGRT?

I have never added essential properties from a subcomp to trhe Essential Graphics panel this way. I've always added them from the subcomp directly, which works as expected. I have not had any issues with this.

If Nvidia can provide stable drivers, this is great! If not, it's not so great. This means we need a place to go to read about recommended driver versions.

They still adhere to the strict rules of captioning. But you can select them all, choose Graphics and Titles > Upgrade Caption to Graphic and move them wherever you want.

I could already have used Finnish and Urdu sometimes. In the Nordic countries, we also have Sami speaking people, so I'm sure I will need that in the future.

FYI: A friend of mine thinks this may be related to editing the camera order in the Source Monitor. He says it seems this is only affecting edits where the cameras have been edited to a new order. Also, Match Frame twice will match to the wrong camera when they have been edited.

About the Append keyboard shortcut, it would be great if pressing a modifier key could prevent the playhead from automatically moving to the end of the timeline.

Quoting from the Adobe Premiere Pro Classroom in a Book: The Overlay, Insert Before, and Insert After edits are available only when dragging a clip onto the appropriate drop zone in the Program Monitor. There are no buttons or single-key shortcuts that achieve the same results. Why are these only available here? Why? This must be the easiest fix in the world. The features are already in place. The only things lacking are the keyboard shortcuts. Why? Please add them! Plus one for Append (add after last clip in timeline). We needed them in CS5 and before, and we still need them.

I'm trying to understand the workflow here. You have edited sequences that contain multicams, and when you put them into a new sequence, the multicams show different angles? If I got that right, this smells like a bug. I know Paul Murphy has used this workflow a lot, and it also how I usually work on larger projects.

If support for multiple audio tracks is not added, I'll have to take this back. MKV support without multiple tracks has no value for me.

I use this same workflow, recording my microphone and the desktop sound on different audio tracks. If this is not supported, the MKV support has no value for me, unfortunately.

I guess you mean the Effect Controls panel. Yes, that's still the only place to reset individual parameters.
