Do you see this with a specific project or are you able to reproduce this with more than one? Could you give me more details about the media used in the project(s)? It will help if we can get a screen recording of your problem, as Dacia suggests.

We still do not have an in-house repro, a critical step towards a fix. Thanks though for confirming that the issue exists without the adjustment layer. So let's only look at what's in the clip. I want to understand if the performance has degraded with Lumetri or all effects in general. Could you try to apply other effects and see if you see the same behavior? Do you also see the problem with a clips (and the proxies) in the local machine as well? Also are the latest Beta builds any better?

Could you please explain what you mean by a fresh timeline? Do you mean one clip, one adjustment layer on top, adjustment layer selected, lumetri exposure applied. Then clip selected, lumetri exposure modified. Compare this with 25.1 and you see 25.2 being this slower?

Thank you! Could you try to remove the adjustment layer and apply the Exposure change to the clip directly and see if the performance (of monitor refreshing and playback starting) is any better compared to 25.1?

Opening these projects, I see that the source colors are different between both the projects. After_Effects_color_management_normal.aep has RGB set as 255,142,142 After_Effects_color_management_issue.aep has RGB set as 255, 118,118 Could you please try this with a video media and let us know if you still see the problem?

After Effects sends a Rec709 output to AME. So you can set the Color Space to 709 and then send it to AME. Not ideal. We want to fix this. But here's a workaround till then:
Go to the File -> Project Settings -> Color tab -> Color Settings section
Change the Working Color Space to "Rec.709 Gamma 2.4"
Uncheck "Use Display Color Management" from the "Channel and Color Management settings"; those color-rings right below the monitor. (This is only to confirm that the color values are the same, immaterial of the display color space)
Now export to AME.
The exported file should hopefully not have the color issues. Please let us know how this goes. If you do want to bring the output file into After Effects to compare, please note that you will need to disable the Display Color Management for it again and then compare the colors.

Thank you for the video. We acknowledge the bug that when the input device changes, the track level meters ignore the track volume. We will look at this one in a future release.
I'd agree with Steve and clarify that the track level meters should react to the track volume in that if the volume is set that low, the levels should show nothing.

Hi,
We are in the process of improving the stability of Audition and have received reports of Audition crashing/hanging in different scenarios. Some of those scenarios are not reproducible in-house, a crucial step towards fixing them. Those that we have reproduced, we have fixed.
We need your help in understanding how to get the system and/or Audition (preferrably the latest available version) to a state where a crash/hang happens reliably. Please let us know if you are interested in helping us get to the bottom of this. If so, please respond with your scenario, what you were doing, the system details, plugins (if any), audio device and control surfaces used, version of Audition, and anything else that you may think relevant.
Looking forward to responses so we can work closer with you and release more and more stable versions of Audition out.

I understand that the steps I mentioned the last time were for the single-user installation. They will be different for corporate/business anti-virus installs. Would it be possible for you to get help from the IT to figure out a way to allow Audition through the AV software? And let me know if that helped?

Could you try to "allow" Adobe applications in your installation of Trend Micro Antivirus software? This seems to be the procedure
Click the Settings button ( ) on the main console.
On the Protection tab, select Trusted Program List from the drop-down menu.
Click Browse... to locate the program to add to the Trusted Program List.
Click Add to Trusted Program List.
Click OK. Could you please try this and let me know if it worked? You could also try disabling the AV for a while and see if that solves the crash-on-launch issues for both After Effects and Audition.

I'd say the main reason for this is the OS upgrade step. I have seen that an upgrade messes up the permissions of folders. What you could do it to compare the permissions of the external drive, and any other local folder where you do not need this additional step during saving; say, your Documents folder. (Select the drive/folder and press Cmd+I, and then expand the "Sharing and permissions" section).
Match the permissions for your username and you should be good after this. Let us know if this doesn't work.

Does this happen with a specific export type? Have you tried to export to .wav files? .MP3 setting?
To understand hangs generally, we need to know what the application was doing at that instant. To get this,
1. If Windows, you can go to the task manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), go to the Adobe Audition.exe process, right-click on it and select "Create dump file". This generates a .dmp file in the %tmp%\ folder. Copy this file to a fileshare, like dropbox, weshare etc., and send the link to audbugs@adobe.com referencing this forum thread.
2. If Mac, You can launch the "Activity Monitor" and select the Adobe Audition process. Choose to get the Spindump and save it as a txt file. Send this txt file to audbugs@adobe.com, referencing this forum post.
We will study the dmp/spindump and let you know where we think Audition is stuck. We can troubleshoot from there.

We have fixed this issue in our latest Beta builds. Please try it out and let us know if you are able to get content showing up from the OneDrive locations directly, instead of navigating to a manually created shortcut.

We do not see the error in-house. Could you please show the error happening by capturing a screen-recording of it? Are you able to export a sequence with just an audio clip with Remix on it? Is there a specific export preset in which you see the error?
