Hi Everyone,
We are announcing the ability to upload videos through drag and drop directly into the Contributor Portal. You will now be able to choose between drag and drop in the Portal or SFTP for your video uploads. We encourage you to continue uploading large volumes of video through SFTP for ease of submissions.
Thank you,

Thanks for the report. I'm investigating this. Likely a short term error.

I checked the files and only saw the title. The generative AI checkbox was not selected on any that I saw. What is a file number of an image that was added to the generative AI filter with the checkbox?

Are you using a 3rd party application to upload and submit your content? The only other time I have seen this, that was the culprit. I checked the files myself and confirmed that the words "generative AI" were added to the title when you submitted them. This was not done on our end, and other than the files that you manually removed "generative AI" from, the titles haven't been changed since you initially submitted.
For any remaining files, please go into the contributor portal and manually update them in the dashboard section as you did previously.
thanks,
Mat Hayward

After the initial Firefly bonus compensation on September 13, 2023 for eligible online images and their downloads, which occurred between June 3, 2022, and June 2, 2023, any potential subsequent bonuses are planned to be based on new approved images and downloads. Please note, that subsequent bonus calculations and timeline are still subject to further evaluation and the model may change.

Hi Everyone,
When we announced Adobe Firefly, we made it clear that we are developing generative AI responsibly, with creators at the center.
Although the use of Adobe Stock images for training Firefly is covered by our contributor agreement, we recognize that Firefly would only exist with the community that made it possible. As a result, today we are announcing the bonus payment details for contributors whose content was used to train our first commercial Firefly model, which is now available.
All eligible Adobe Stock contributors with photos, vectors or illustrations, whose content was used to train the first commercial Firefly model, received a Firefly bonus payment today, September 13, 2023. The bonus payment is not guaranteed, it varies for each contributor, and is paid at Adobe’s discretion.
The initial bonus is based on the all-time total number of approved images you submitted to Adobe Stock and the number of licenses that those images generated in the 12-month period between June 3rd, 2022, to June 2nd, 2023. The bonus is weighted towards licenses. A banner on the Insights>My Statistics tab in the Contributor portal provides the specific amount that was added to your account.
We plan to base potential subsequent bonuses on new approved images and licenses they generate annually.
We have put together an FAQ here.
Let me know if you have any questions not covered there.
Kind regards, Mat Hayward

We want to remind you that any generative AI assets submitted to Adobe Stock must adhere to the Generative AI Guidelines. Violations to these guidelines lead to content rejections or account termination.
Very important:
Do not submit any assets created with prompts in the style of other artists or referring to famous people or brands.
Content created by prompts that refer to artists, styles, or works that no longer have copyright protection may be acceptable so long as you verify that no other rights apply to the prompt (e.g., publicity rights, cultural heritage rights, etc.). If you are unsure if you have the necessary rights, do not submit content made using that prompt.
All generative AI images should be identified by checking the box “Created using generative AI tools”.
Only check the box “People and Property are fictional” if the asset includes people or property. For example, if you generated a landscape or food DO NOT check this box.
If you used a real person or property to generate your AI image, you need to submit a model release or property release with your image.
Thank you,
Mat Hayward

I checked your account and don't see anything in the reminder section at this time. Content you submit now does not require a property release as long as you click the 2nd check box.
Thanks, Mat Hayward

I am looking at your account @mrooke and I don't see the long wait on images you called out. Currently, you have 5 images pending review. Four of the five were uploaded and submitted on March 14. They were all reviewed 10 days later on March 24 and found to be non compliant with indexing,. At that time, they were all placed in the Remind To Complete section so you could make the necessary corrections. The images sat untouched in the reminder section until you re-submitted them on July 11. They have been pending review for 15 days. That is still a long time, but within the expected amount to wait. It's not unusual to wait 6-8 weeks these days, but I've not seen any go longer than 2 months.
Your fifth file was submitted on July 18.

If you can't click a box indicating the file is created with generative AI software, then we don't accept content in that file format that was created with generative AI software. Specifically, to reiterate what was already called out here, we do not accept vector files created with images made with generative AI software.

I've looked through your account and checked a handful of your pending files. I don't see anything pending even close to 100 days ago. Most files I checked you uploaded to the portal in May, but you did not actually submit them for review until July 10. The portal will display the time based on when you uploaded it, but the wait time will actually begin based on when you submit it.
Your oldest pending file was uploaded and submitted on April 27. It was reviewed on July 3 and then pushed into the remind-to complete section because you submitted it without the release that was required at the time (it is no longer required if you click the new checkbox). You re-submitted that file on July 18 though it is still non compliant as you did not attach a property release, nor did you click the checkbox.
Yes, the wait time for review is still substantial. That said, it's not 100 days. If I have written this once in the forum, I have written it a TRILLION times...don't exaggerate 🙂
For the record, that last line was a joke.

I'm not sure I understand the concern you are voicing. Even now, if you submit a photo realistic generative AI image as file type: illustration, you will be fine. If you uploaded an image that contains a generative AI person, and you attached a Property release indicating that person was not real, then you would also be fine. Especially if you submitted a file before the 2nd checkbox existed.
Am I missing something? What specifically has you concerned?
Thanks,
Mat Hayward

Hi everyone,
I would like to share two updates regarding the submission of generative AI images to Adobe Stock. We have updated the contributor portal and added an additional checkbox that eliminates the need for you to attach a property release for generative AI images featuring people or property that are fictional. In addition, you can now submit photo-realistic generative AI images as asset type photos, i.e., content that looks as though it could have been created by a camera, as long as you check the box that it was created with generative AI tools. All other generative AI content should continue to be submitted as asset type illustrations. You can read the details on all the updates in our learn and support page here: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/generative-ai-content.html Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi everyone,
If you are new to creating and submitting generative AI content to Adobe Stock, or you have a question about generative AI content, I'm hosting a Stock 101 session on that very topic this Wednesday, June 28 at 12pm Pacific time.
The event will happen in our Behance Live page which can be found here: https://www.behance.net/adobestock/livestreams
I hope to see you there,

You are correct that Adobe Firefly cannot be used for commercial purposes while in beta. You should be able to access your non-beta version of Photoshop or you can simply not use generative fill when logged into the beta version.

Hi everyone,
I am announcing a big update in the workflow for those of you submitting generative AI images to Adobe Stock. With the successful launch of the search filter and generative AI display in the customer facing site, we are no longer requiring you add "generative AI" to your title or keywords. Effective immediately, you can stop adding "generative AI" to your title and keywords if you prefer.
It is VERY important you continue to select the "created using generative AI tools" checkbox and that you submit your generative AI content as an illustration. Let me know if you have any questions.
thank you,
Mat Hayward

Yes, it's VERY important you list keywords in order of relevance. Put the most important and most relevant in the top 10. Remember, if a word is important enough to include in the title, you should also include it in the top 10 keywords.

Your screen shot shows multiple images with serious intellectual property violations. Taking the quality issues out, they cannot be approved. Jeep for example has a trademark on the grill in front. That said, it looks like these were auto-traced which is prohibited. My advice is to move on from the rejections and focus on creating and submitting new, original content.
Better luck next time,
Mat Hayward

If you accidentally submitted generative AI images as photos, please delete them and re-submit as illustrations. If you are uncertain of how to delete content pending review, please watch this brief video:

While Adobe Firefly is in beta, you cannot use content created with, or enhanced by Firefly for commercial purposes. This means you cannot upload the content as stock at this time.
As has been called out here, the current policy is that any image that has been created with or touched by generative AI software must be submitted as an illustration, regardless of how photo realistic it is.
Thank you,
Mat Hayward

Hi, I checked our system and other than the two emails I see you have sent this week, there is no record of any communication from the account you linked in this thread. When I have seen other similar experiences, the result has been that multiple accounts were inadvertently created so the communication was for an alternate account.
I searched our system and found two separate accounts in your name with the same Adobe ID. The account you wrote about here obviously has content, the other does not (created on May 12, 2023). Either way, the account is functioning and accessible. You can log into the contributor portal with your Adobe ID and password directly. contributor.stock.adobe.com. I will respond to one of the emails you sent to support to start a chain of communication there.
Thanks,
Mat Hayward
