On the system requirements page on the latest Premiere Pro CC, there is a minimum requirement to have 6th gen processor.

However, I think dual xeon 2697 v3 is powerful enough to run modern editing program.

Is it recommended to get the latest Premiere Pro on this processor? Would it run smoothly?

I have a Dell T7910 tower system with dual Xeon e5-2687 v3's and it is completely awesome in every way. There is more to making Premiere Pro sing than the CPU(s), but so far as CPU firepower and compatibility with the latest and greatest Premiere Pro CC goes - NO WORRIES!!!

Regards,

Jim
