The processor was released 2010 and while it will work you are probably going to notice some slugginesh. If you are planning to edit 4K you will face loooong render times.

Thanks for your prompt response. With the given specs shall I use Premiere Pro 2023 (not 2022 as suggested in the comment below). Other than exhaustive rendering, what problems can I face??

You will need at least one other large, fast SSD.

You have only weeks remaining to download and install the 2022 version of Premiere Pro via the Creative Cloud desktop front end. The 2024 version is due any moment - and once the 2024 version goes online, the 2022 version will no longer be available anymore.

And you will not be able to even install the 2024 version of Premiere Pro at all on your Dell because the 2024 version will now require AVX2 extension support in the CPU itself. Your Xeon E5630 predates the introduction of AVX2; therefore, it is too old to support newer versions of the Adobe video apps. The current (and about to become depreciated to legacy status) 2023 version is the very last version of Premiere Pro that can be installed on such old CPUs.

There is absolutely no upgrade path to that. You're permanently stuck with whatever technology that was current at the time of that system's manufacture because none of the CPUs that are compatible with Socket LGA 1366 support AVX2 instructions at all, and that that CPU socket has already been EOL'd by the time the first AVX2 CPUs were introduced. Worse, that system uses proprietary parts which cannot be replaced with off-the-shelf parts. The only solution is a completely new PC.

By the way, the 2023 version will remain available for about one year after the 2024 version becomes available in the non-beta version, but the older version will receive only critical bug and security fixes and no more new features.
