Hi,

Sounds like an amazing system. I would go with the GTX 760 4GB. I have similiar system specs and recently ordered the GTX760. I almost went with the 660Ti,but noticed the 760 has been performing better in benchmarks and not much higher in price. Sure the 760 is overkill right now,but in a few months you will wish you had that extra power. I don't like having to upgrade to often. The 760 is going for around 279.00 4GB and 249.99 2GB. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-760-review-gk104,3542-17.html

A system is as weak as its weakest link.

With only a quad core, only 16 GB memory and only a single volume for editing, there is no sense in overspending on the video card.

What happens in the system? Data from disk --> CPU --> memory --> GPU --> memory --> CPU --> disk. If you have a traffic jam on one of these roads, it makes no difference if the GPU is among the fastest available, you still have to accept the traffic jam on the other roads.

This is relatively a 760 or 770 on the OP's system.

I already have 32 gigs of ram and a faster CPU, but even if I had 16 gigs with those specs I woulden't buy an older card if I could pay 80.00 more for a better card. I am thinking he will upgrade to 32 gigs of ram in the future. You would spend 179.99 for a gtx 650 Ti Boost? When you can get a 760 GTX for 249.99 a far superior card. The difference may be I do a lot of gaming and 3D graphics which demand more from the GPU.

I would have to agree with you when you consider future-proofing your system.  My systems always seen to get upgraded as time goes by.  Even if next year you find it necessary to upgrade your whole system haveing the 700 series card is then a perfect fit  Now if you have any possibility in the future of doing any 4k video editing I would say go with the 4 GB version

Adobe Community: What is the best video card for my system?

A 650 TI is the best card for that system, the 760/770 are overkill.
