Hey everyone,

I’m working on some video projects in Adobe Premiere Pro, and I’m thinking about upgrading my graphics card. I’m stuck between choosing an AMD graphics card or an NVIDIA GPU. I’m really curious about how well hardware acceleration works with each of them.

Has anyone here tried both AMD Graphics Cards and NVIDIA GPUs in with Premiere Pro? Which one gives better performance, especially when it comes to rendering, playback, and exporting? I’d love to hear your thoughts or see any benchmarks if you have them!

Thanks a lot for any advice you can share!

Does Premiere Pro run better with NVIDIA or AMD?

For Premiere Pro, we have seen consistently higher performance with an NVIDIA GeForce/Quadro cards than with a comparably priced AMD Radeon/Radeon Pro card. Because of this, we highly recommend that you use an NVIDIA-based card for Premiere Pro.
