Hello everyone,

I am looking to purchase a video editing system. I mostly edit for YouTube. The videos are shot on Sony mirrorless cameras.
Please let me know what you think of this build. I am from Pakistan and there are very few options when it comes to AMD.

Processor
AMD Ryzen 7 2700

Motherboard
Asus TUF B450-Plus Gaming AMD AM4 Socket AMD Ryzen 2nd Generation/Ryzen with Radeon

Graphics Card
Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 OC 6GB

RAM
Corsair Vengeance DDR4 16GB 3000Bus LPX

Hard Drive
Samsung SSD 250GB 970 EVO PLUS NVMe M.2 (for OS and Software)
&
Samsung SSD 500GB 860 EVO SATA (Project files and footage - will add more)

Casing
Cooler Master Masterbox MB501L

Power Supply
Thermaltake Litepower 650 W ATX Power Supply

Thanks!

>Sony mirrorless cameras

What does that mean... what kind of file... Standard Definition... High Defintion... 4k video?

SD and HD should work well... 4k video requires a LOT of computing power, and your rig may have problems

Thank you John. We would currently edit Sony A7S I and A7S II 1080p files, but later might switch to 4K version of those cameras. What changes would you suggest for that?

I'm not John, but I would definitely get more RAM installed in that system. Go for at least 32 GB, in this case.

In addition, a higher-end GPU, such as an RTX 2060, would be desirable for that system. The CPU should be adequate for most 4k editing work.
