Laptop spec to run Adobe Premiere Pro

If you go with Apple, any Apple Silicon based MacBook Pro.    I'd go with 32GB/2TB or more, but no less than 16GB/1TB.

The specs on that Dell are high for when it was released, although it seems to be designed more as a business/office laptop rather than a graphics workstation, and some parts are getting dated. Overall it looks good enough that current Premiere Pro should run OK on it, at least when editing 1080p video. It might struggle with 4K though. Before running off to a new computer, one thing I didn’t see in the specs was how large the internal storage is, and how much free space is on it?

I'm used to Windows operating system and 97% of my company's other laptops have Windows installed.  Are Apple pc's/laptops always better?

I’ve enjoyed using Mac laptops for many years, and I will say that Apple Macs are great, but not always better than PCs. For desktop computers especially, there are ways to customize a PC for performance that aren’t options for Macs.

For laptops, in the last few years Apple has had an advantage in power efficiency, which means being able to edit video for longer on battery power, and less heat and fan noise. However there have always been PC laptops that were more powerful when plugged into wall power. In the last year or so Windows laptops have been catching up in power efficiency. If you’re used to Windows, there should be enough good options to be able to stay with Windows for a new laptop, especially if you need to get it through a Windows PC-oriented IT department.
