Using a MacBook Pro (15-Inch, 2018) bought end of last year.
Using Premiere Pro 13.0.3. Had the notorious audio error today while changing audio levels on a file.
Luckily hit mute before speakers completely blown but max levels were half as loud afterwards.

Hey Matthew,
Can you verify the Premiere version you were on and your hardware info? Also would you be able to send over file you were working on? Feel free to DM me and we can take a closer look.
Thanks,
-CM

There is a thread around here that has the same title... blown out mac speakers... with about 1 million replies. I wonder if the poster can be referred to that post instead of going through that all over again ??
If the poster says, " using 13.0.3 " does that hint at the VERSION ?
Is there some military style secret code involved here. ??? What does DM ME, THANKS, CM.
Sounds like, TANGO DOWN, ALPHA MOVE MOVE MOVE !

Hi,
Matt from the Premiere team here. Is there any other reports of this happening with 13.0.3?
Can you describe detail what you were doing? There are too many variables left out of the above report for us to start any kind of meaningful investigation.
"Had the notorious audio error today while changing audio levels on a file." Please, any and all details will help here.

can please someone explain why was the original thread with quite the same title was BLOCKED , by someone who claimes to be only a customer /user ?
We definitely want to have an official statement from adobe if this destroying issue is fixed with the upgrade 13.0.3 !!
As I’m just back from a decissionmakerboard how to proceed with our last remaining adobesuites.
Currently all suites a totally blocked for any use of adobe PP / AE / ME ….. complete ban of even starting the software.
As we are out of warranty with our machines we need to know if adobe will pay for the repair in case it still happens !! —or we quit even this last line and switch here as well to resolve.
why blaming adobe ?
For example : if you own a car (as base machine) and let additionaly built in a 3rd-party addon like a tow-bar from a different manufacturer in a different workshop, what happens if this device kills some of your onboard electronic-controllers (can-bus) because of some malfunction !?
Who is to blame for / reponsible for the deseaster?
Everyone will agree , that it is in this case for sure not the manufacturer of the car , but the one who built the tow-bar electronics and sold it with “compatible with this model”.
Only if he clearly stated that “this device either as incompatible or not compatible”, then the owner of the car has to take the risk…. but never ever the car manufacturer … why should he test all possible 3rd party software ??
that was the point where the original thread was blocked/closed by someone……..

Thanks, Kevin. I had a few beers and couldn't figure out what the heck the acronyms were all about.
This subject is stupid. Hire a lawyer and sue someone. Otherwise get new speakers.. Nobody here can help you.
hehe,..
I feel your pain sorta, but not really. If it happened to me I'd start out by editing with speakers OFF.. ( WHICH I USUALLY DO ANYWAY), and if I put the volume up and my computer burst into flames and speakers exploded, I wouldn't come to the stupid adobe forum to get fellow users to help me. What could they possibly do ??
good luck !
