System build after news Adobe and Radeon team up

Hi all

Hoping for some advise, I'm looking to upgrade and was torn between two builds after the news Adobe and AMD are now in partnership and support Vega;

Either Intel i9 7900x and EVGA 1080TI,  or Threadripper 1950x and Radeon Vega Frontier air cooled (may hold out till water cooled comes in)

Any advise would be of great help

I think that you may have to wait for the next major release of Premiere Pro CC in order to properly use the Vega GPU. The current CC 2018.1 release still doesn't support it properly.
