Traveling with Premiere Pro - Who do you choose?

The past year has made me realize I will be working from home, the office, my cabin and more - I really need a travel companion for Premiere Pro. I have the iPad (most recent gen and NOT pro or air) and of course my desktop. I was thinking about the Surface Studio - but thats a $4k investment.... Does anyone here use the iPad Pro or other Tablet like device? I have a nice bluetooth keyboard/mouse that I use, but need something compatable (at least mostly) with Premiere Pro.

I am not intrested in a standard "laptop" because I love my bluetooth keyboard and having two keyboards in my opinion is silly... I also prefer a touchscreen for when I need to animate and draw.

ANY help, advice, etc would be great.

Not going to work... you must have an actual computer, not a tablet https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/system-requirements.html

This link has "some" laptop discussion

Premiere Pro runs only on macOS and Windows, not iOS. If you must run Premiere Pro on a standalone tablet right now, your only choice is a Surface tablet running Windows.

The closest you’ll get on the iPad is using the more basic Premiere Rush app to rough out some edits, then later when you get back to a computer you can bring the Rush project into Premiere Pro to finish it off.

I don't make movies, only videos.   I travel in an RV a lot so the choice is a "standard laptop", but "gamer" style.   One was an ASUS Repuglic of Gamers.  It died so I replaced it with a Lenevo Legion Y545.  The Lenevo was $1100 at a big box store.  It has an i7, 16 GB RAM, an Nvidia GPU, a 500 GB SSD and 1 TB HDD.   I have no trouble editing 4K in Premiere Pro or running any other Adobe software.  I don't know if a $4K Surface or HP workstation would work much better.
