Digital Juice Closed without Warning

We just got a real kick in the head - Digital Juice has shut down with no warning whatsoever. We were a lifetime member. Now we have no source of video elements such as lower third graphic backgrounds, wipes, and other effects.
I'd love to hear about other options. It looks like the templates on Adobe Stock are pretty limited.

I have used Motionarry. They are okay but not quite the variety that Digital Juice had. However, in recent years, it seems like Digital Juice wasn't adding a lot of new content that could compete with some of the other sites out there. But they were still affordable.

I joined Digital Juice Exchange http://digitaljuiceexchange.com and got all Digital Juice files as well as all Boxx files avialable for me to download. It is even better than the old Digital Juice site.

Effects asset) to my desktop computer. I then used Juicer 3 to open the
asset located on the desktop. It worked for me. However, the DJ Exchange
provides files in different formats or file extensions. So other assets may
not work on the Juicer 3. If you can't open the asset using my method, then
Google which program can open the asset you downloaded (using the file
extension). Good luck!

Thank you!
The thing is, I've downloaded the ToolKit Pro on DJ Exchange and I've mounted it into a virtual drive (that's what I heard you should do since it came as an ISO format). The struggle is that I don't know how to import the kit into Juicer 3... :'/

I don't have it in front of my right now, but the ISO file mounted appears like a normal DVD to applications. So, mount it (In Windows right-click and Open With, then chose Explorer). Then in DJ, there is an option under the File menu, to load in from the ISO/DVD.

Thank you for your information. I joined Digital Juice Exchange couples days ago and am very pleased with what I am getting from them.

I also downloaded my files from Digital Juice Exchange http://digitaljuiceexchange.com Once I mounted the iso file, I would go to File/Install Products and a window would show the mounted product and ask you to choose the catalog location. It has been running smoothly for me. For whatever reason if Juicer doesn't recognize the iso file, which I think is because of the built-in catalog of Juicer, I will just open the iso file with PowerISO and extract the source files to use in AE or Premiere Pro.

This just sucks I went to log in to download a couple of assets and Justice found out that they are no longer in business. They should have allowed members to download their stuff I didn't get an email or anything.

Digital Juice was a go to for me, super upset they closed down. Condolences to the family. It was such a clean and easy source for SO MUCH CONTENT! Will be sorely missed!!!

Yes, condolences to the family for sure.
But what an awful thing for management to do to lifetime members.
They should've kept the servers open for 6 mos or a year and let lifetime members download what they want. They would of course probably need to put a daily limit.

David Richard Hebel was or is 52 years old. His father James is 72. From Ocala, Florida. I can find no info yet anyone by that name died in November, but will keep looking on Ancestry and Newspapers.com. Not sure what is going on, but I have never heard of a company that does that much business only having one employee.

The reporter for this article did the same research plus some and came up with as much as you did. Reminds me of a smaller program I used, First Name Almanac by Ken Kirkpatrick. Great program, updates of the program and database, new products. And one day after upgrading to Win10, it wouldn't work. Went to the site to ask why - 404. More digging, owner died, left no information on the program to family or employees. MS changed the code in Win10 leaving out a crucial element the program used. Another company dug into the program and rigged a workaround but since it's their work, they're charging for the fix. Meanwhile 'Lifetime Purchasers' were left with the same. Disks, CDs and USB sticks of programs that won't work on new computers and although it'll work on an older machine, no updates. A friend of mine I shared with that does Business Risk Analysis said it's a common problem. Business owners with no plans and think they can manage all the Company data out of ego or paranoia and one accident later, an asset for the family is gone. And for those who don't care, well tough luck we got your money.

Yes, I agree. I am glad I downloaded quite a bit of content during the last few months. My condolences to the family. But business is still business.

We found some of the Digital Juice content here on Adobe Stock: https://stock.adobe.com/search?creator_id=206552272&filters%5Bcontent_type%3Aphoto%5D=1&filters%5Bco...
But, of course, now we have to pay Adobe for individual assets that we already paid another company for.

If digital juice has shut down, then who is collecting the fees from the digital juice assets on adobe stock?
