We just got a real kick in the head - Digital Juice has shut down with no warning whatsoever. We were a lifetime member. Now we have no source of video elements such as lower third graphic backgrounds, wipes, and other effects.
I'd love to hear about other options. It looks like the templates on Adobe Stock are pretty limited.

That's a valid point.

This Digital Juice shutdown is unacceptable behavior for an commercial website. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with US consumer protection law, but it shouldn't be legal. In any case, that would not be possible in Europe. Unfortunately, you can no longer access the terms and conditions (probably not without reason) to check whether this fits the value proposition. Definitely a slap in the face for all Lifetime models. We will probably now have to take a closer look at which content platform we still trust. Does the shutdown also mean that the rights of use of the content that has already been downloaded will be waived?

I'm a Founding Member as well, and agree with the comments initially mentioned here. I also have several of the purchased discs that I now want to copy the content onto my hard drives for quicker access, however, it looks like I'll need the Juicer3 software to access the content. Is the Juicer3 software available somewhere to download?

How do I properly import files from digital juice exchange to juicer 3 app?

I am a Founding Member as well. Juicer 3.90 is good for some of the content, but there are still many sets that will not allow you to copy the content and link to it, only the previews. Animated Canvases, Compositor's Toolkit and others will ask you for the disc, instead of being able to link to the files on your hard drive or NAS. One of my Motion Designer's Toolkit 6 discs (#6) is bad, and I can't reinstall that particular disc either. I have about 300 of their discs because I purchased them before Juicer 4 came out and became a Founding Member. Anything I downloaded in Juicer 4 can't be installed into Juicer 3.90 because the setups are different. Juicer 3.90 uses "catalog", while Juicer 4 uses "DJResource". I can't even make the Matte Magic I downloaded in V4 useable in V3.90. Does anyone know how to get the original files compatible with 3.90?

Juicer was usually a file on the DVDs.

Does anyone know what Mac OS version will still open Juicer 3.8.2? Was able to download it and it actually installed on my v1 Mac Studio (with some bypassing of Apple's security measures). But when attempting to open the app itself, I get an error that it won't work with this version of the OS (Sonoma). Just trying to see if I can open my vast collection of DJ DVD's that require the Juicer (Like Photo Knockouts). Fortunately, I have their HD stock footage, music tracks, etc. that open fine (I'm copying them all to an array so I don't have to deal with the DVD's).
Longtime user, lifetime member, owner of more than 800 DJ DVD's starting way back in the SD days. Also own lots of DJ gear. At least that doesn't require the Juicer 🙄

Juicer just provides a more efficient way to view and handle the files. You can always extract the source files from the ISOs and use them with your editing app.

Specifically, Photo Knockouts (great clean cutouts of individuals doing various activities) is in a proprietary format that appears to only be available through the Juicer. I've attempted to open with a variety of tools, but the .djpko files are unreadable. I've also attempted to change the suffix (.jpg, .png, etc.) to no avail.

I have just download the full set of Photo Knockout from http://digitaljuiceexchange.com to test. You're right. Digital Juice used special file format djpko for this set and you can only use them with Juicer. Since DIgital Juice also provides the download of Juicer (they also shows you how to get a cracked version for all DJ files), I have no problem of using the PhotoKnockout files.

What version of Mac OS are you using? My original post described I can download DJ but can't install on my current system.

i was a lifetime member and really was shocked that they would close the site down after the owner died. Without warning

It's terrible... just found out today. I paid the lifetime membership just a year ago with barely any used downloads and now they shut down without warning. I hope they reopen the store for one year at least so people can download as much as they can.

Purchased most of DJ's physical products since 2006 then joined as a founding member of their subscription service. Also bought many volumes of Busyboxx series but downloaded just a few. Really upset of their unethical move of sudden close which did not allow its subscribers to download any wanted files at all. Joined https://digitaljuiceexchange.com couple days ago and was able to retrieve some of the Busyboxx files I need.

Thanks for sharing this link. Many of my discs no longer work so this is better than nothing. Hoping someone uploads some of the HD content. Most of the DVDs are not great for working on 1080p or 4K projects. So upsetting that they gave no warning, especially to lifetime members.

Thanks to those who started Digitaljuiceexchange.com. I have retrieved some of the Fonts that I had lost, but I am lost on how to install them without the disks. Does anyone know how?

If you download the iso files from http://digitaljuiceexchange.com , you can mount it with a virtual drive and use Juicer to open it. There are numbers of YouTube videos showing how to mount a virtual drive. I downloaded all 10 DJ Fonts from that site and am running them without any problem.

Hi. Can you please enumerate the steps you took to install all 10 DJ Fonts with the Juicer? I'm able to mount the files, but I cannot figure out how to use them with the Juicer (3.9). Thank you in advance.
