Hello everyone.
I want to share a little bit the thoughts of their real project in terms of color correction of the material.
Most recently, I was doing a project to advertise a product, and decided to paint it in Premiere. When using Premiere color correction tools, I applied the final LUT to fully balanced and matched frames and was just horrified at how it works. In one frame, my skin color was normal, in the second frame - yellow, in the third - green, in the fourth - red, and in places the color was dirty. I have not been able to straighten it to its normal state. I've been messing around for a very long time and I couldn't cope with Premiere color correction tools. Or rather, I was able to deduce the material, but not perfectly. And then DaVinci came to my rescue. In short, I am "very pleased". I won't touch the color correction in Premiere anymore from the word at all. Moreover, as I said on the forum, the Premiere color correction tools themselves do not work correctly. There is a separate article about this and I have tested the work of native color correction tools. It's not good enough, everything is very bad there, there are real examples. Now in Premiere it is impossible to paint materials correctly, I don't mean fine-tuning, but just painting. About giving a certain appearance and style, I'm generally silent. There's nothing to do there. Why am I talking about this. Because when I put together the same project in DaVinci and painted it, I was surprised at how simple tools work. NO PARASITIC AND INCORRECT SHADES ON THE SKIN. NO DIRTY COLOR. I don't understand, I don't understand at all who is behind this and what is being done in order to make normal, correct, working, non-freezing color correction tools in Premiere.
Do you have any thoughts on this?
Share them.
I want to understand that some of you have encountered a similar situation in the procts during color correction.
