Adobe Dimension shows “Application needs to restart” error on launch
Hello,
I’m experiencing an issue with Adobe Dimension.
Every time I try to launch the application, I receive the following error message:
“The application needs to restart. An application error has occurred. Please follow the steps below to help diagnose the issue…”
It also suggests checking a log file located at:C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\Adobe Dimension\Dimension-2026-05-06.log
The application does not open properly and this error keeps appearing.
Environment:
- OS: Windows 10 / 11
- Adobe Dimension: Reinstalled on May 6, 2026 (exact version unknown)
What I have tried so far:
- Restarting the application
- Restarting the PC
- Reinstalling Adobe Dimension
Has anyone experienced the same issue or knows how to fix it?
