どうしたらいいのか、どなたか教えたください

返信が遅れてすみません。そして、丁寧なアドバイスありがとうございます。
大変そうですが、アンインストールしてからのクリーンインストールから
試してみようと思います。
また、何かありましたら、お伺いすることもあるかもしれません。

旧mac長持ちしましたね！
フォーラムの検索窓で「データ移行」で検索するとたくさん出てきますが、Time Machineにしろ旧機から新機の以降サービスにしろ、
Adobeのアプリのデータ移行はエラーのモトなので、一度全部削除してからのクリーンインストールが必要になります。が。
Illustrator CS4が既に10年前のリリースで、Adobe公式の動作保障はMac OS X v10.4.11 - 10.5.4です。
Mojaveで動作保障されているのはCC2019からなので、たとえインストールできたとしてもまともに動く保証はありません。
お仕事で使うのならばCCの契約をオススメします。

kawacocoさんの補足程度ですが、CS4は32bitアプリケーションですから、
もし起動して動作したとしても、少なくとも下記問題があります。
これは次期OS（10.15）では32bitアプリケーションが利用できなくなる点での警告です。

逆に、もし10.14で利用できたとしても、そのセキュリティサポートが2021年秋季となると、
使えるのはあと2年少々ということになることを踏まえる必要があります。
またフォーラムの利用方法としてですが、今回、メールでご返信されているようですが、
本来、フォーラムはWebブラウザで利用されるのが望ましいところです。
