「スクリーン用に書き出し」の設定を変えたい。ファイル名に「アートボード 」の文字が追加されないようにしたい。

直接の方法ではない、一発での処理でなくても構わないのであれば、書き出し後に一括リネームでもいい気はします。

 Adobe CC標準だとBridgeにリネーム機能があるので、それを用いるなどの方法です。

（フリーソフトなどでも構いません）

新規書類のカスタム化については、New Document Profilesフォルダにあるイラストレータ書類を改変すると可能ですが、アートボードを追加するとやはり「アートボード」の文字がついてきます。
ここのファイルを改変する以外でも、適切な設定を施したイラストレータ書類をテンプレートとして保存し、それをベースに運用する方法もあります。

ちょうど書き出したものがあったので。

silk-mさんがやったようにアートボード名を数字で付けてプレフィックスを外すとこうなります。

アートボードパネルはウインドウメニューより表示できます。

指定したファイル名とはプレフィックスですね。

アートボードが複数あれば区別をつける必要がありますから、アートボード名をこうします。

書き出し名はこうなります。

アートボード名に「アートボード」と入っていなければ、書き出し名には入りません。

追加になりますが返信は無理に英語にしなくて、日本語のままでも問題ありません。

また Mojave を使っているのなら Illustrator のバージョンを上げたほうが良いと思います。

もちろん CC 2017 は慣れるまで残しておくこともできます。

Sorry to hear about the trouble you are facing with Illustrator. If I get it correctly, while exporting Artboards from "Export for Screens", artboard is added to file name. I tried but couldn't replicate this issue at my end. 

I would request if you can share a few more details like:

• Operating system you are working on.
• Version of Illustrator (English or Japanese)
• Screenshot of Artboard panel.
• You can also try resetting preferences for Illustrator (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/illustrator/using/setting-preferences.html). 
  

  Please note that resetting preferences will remove all the custom settings and Illustrator will launch with default settings. You can also take a backup of the folders in case you want to. Location is mentioned in the article.
