最近Mac miniを購入しました。OSはYosemiteバージョン10.10.1です。

以前使用していたOS10.7.5で作成したIllustrator CS6のファイルを開いた時、

Didot Regularが文字化け？しているようですが、OSの影響でしょうか？

また、他の欧文フォントでこのような現象がありましたら教えてください。

一応参考になるかと思いまして、OSX 10.9 のテキストエディットで新旧バージョンの違いを見てみました。


Didot.ttc バージョンが 9.0d1e1 の場合。

「Lining numerals」こちらがデフォルトになっています。（数字の大文字／小文字？ 言いたい事は分かりますが...）


「変更なし」に切り替えると Old-style 数字になります。



Didot.ttc バージョンが 6.1d4e1 の場合。

「Lining Numerals」


「Old-style Numerals」に切り替えても Old-style 数字になりません？？？。


Mac OSX の付属フォントはここら辺がよくわからない仕様ですから気をつけた方がいいと思います。

英語だったり日本語だったり、「古いスタイルの数字」や「トラディショナル数字」とかスタイル名も統一感が有りません。

OS X 10.8 では Didot.ttc はバージョンが 6.1d4e1 です。

レギュラー数字「０」が「U+0030」、オールド数字「０」が「No Unicode」になっています。

OS X 10.9 では Didot.ttc はバージョンが 9.0d1e1 です。

レギュラー数字「０」が「No Unicode」、オールド数字「０」が「U+0030」になっています。

Font Book で「０」をみたところ。

Didot.ttc バージョン 9.0d1e1 のイタリックの場合です。

こちらではレギュラー数字「０」が「U+0030」なんです。

多分 OS X 10.10 でも同じ事だと思います。これがフォントのバグであるかの確かな知識は持ち合わせていませんが、おかしいとは思います。

困った事にDidot.ttcの場合、OpenTypeパネルでは字形を変えられないんですよね。字形パレットでは変えられるんですが、とても面倒な作業になります。

旧フォントをコピーしてくる事は出来ませんか？

    silk-mさん、スクリーンショットのご提示ありがとうございます。

    当方では現物両方をすぐに用意できないので推測ですが、

    OS付属のフォントのバージョンが変わり、ライニングからオールドスタイル字形のほうにUnicodeが変更されたようですね。

    ただフォント名称は変わらないですし、Illustratorの場合はフォントバージョンのチェックもできないので、

    結果として勝手にグリフが変わってしまう現象になってしまっているのだと思います。

    仰るように、解決策としては旧環境からフォントを移植するしかないとは思います。

    しかしAppleに確認は必要ではありますが、OSのEULAに抵触するようにも思います。

    （ただアップグレードではない別Macに持ってくるのは確実に抵触する気がしますが）

    ひとつ言えることは、確実には現状としては手作業で入れ替えるしかないことと、

    OS付属のフォントをどこまで信用して使うか、ということになると思います。

    これは今回のDidot以外でも、従来もバージョンアップで変更が出ていたことでもあるので、

    OS付属フォント全体に対して言えることになります。

    フォントのバージョンがが変わった事が原因という結論でよろしいでしょうか？

    開いた状態だけでみると、オールドスタイル数字になっていますね。

    OpenTypeパネルの「数字」の設定はどのようになっているでしょうか。
