Mark IVではjpegで撮っていましたので理由が良く分かりました。

Lightroom5.7ではMark4のRAWは読み込めません。

Mark3までならそのまま読めます。

また、silk-mさんのおっしゃる通り、Lightroom6.7以降出ないと

Mark4のRAWには対応していません。

Lightroom5.7とLightroomCC（ClassicCC）以降のバージョンは、両方インストールして使用ができます。

アイコンも同じなので、間違って起動していたなんてことはありませんか？

画像ファイル拡張子は ＊.cr2ですが、「これらのファイルはLightroomのraw形式のサポートで認識できません」というメッセージが出ます。今までrawでも撮っていましたが、最近この様な状態です。

Lightroomメニューの編集、環境設定、ファイル管理 以外で該当するメニューはあるのでしょうか？

Canon 5D Mark IV は Lightroom 6.7 以降での対応ですから、最近読めなくなったというのはありえない話になります。

Camera Raw がサポートするカメラ

DNG に変換とかしていませんでしたか？
