写真データの入った内蔵ハードディスクを新しいPCで使用する

こんにちは。
PCを新調しようと考えています。
その際、LightroomのアプリとカタログはOSの入っているSSDに置き、いままでのPCで使ってきた写真データの入った内蔵ハードディスク（3TB、空き容量1.5TB）を新PCの空きベイに入れて使おうと思っています。
ドライブレターは旧PCでは”F"で使っていたので、新PCでも同じドライブレター"F"を割り振れば、そのまま使用できるでしょうか。

    Using the old hard drive is just that simple.

    If you keep the drive letter the same, you need no extra work in the catalog.

    If you change the drive letter (L-Y if often recommended), it is simple to tell Lightroom where the folders are now located on the new drive.
