旧バージョンで作成したヘルプの移行について

現在、RoboHelp8.0を使用しています。規模が小さいためバージョンアップ等は行わずに使用し続けていました。しかし、OSのWindows10への切り替えに伴い最新のRoboHelp2019の購入を検討しています。

そこで、ご存じの方がおられましたらご教示願えないでしょうか。

RoboHelp8.0で作成したHelp(HTMLで作成したもの及び添付しているPDF)を簡単にRoboHelp2019への移行は可能なものでしょうか。

規模は小さいですが、作成したHelpを再度作成するのはきつい為、オペレータレベルでの移行が出来ればと考えております。

よろしくお願いします。

You can convert RH8 projects into RH2019 Classic version fairly easily - just open a copy of the project's xpj file and it will offer to upgrade it for you. Once you have the project upgraded, you can choose to convert it to RH2019 New UI format (or not - it all depends on what sort of output you want to create; some forms are only avaialble in the New UI version).
You can download a trial copy of RH2019 on a non-production machine, making sure to apply all updates, and then use a copy of your RH8 project to experiment with.

You may need to re-create a few things when you upgrade to the New UI.

I have had problems with the conditional build expression not copying across correctly. And you may need to create a new skin.

Have a look at Peter Grainge's Robohelp Tour site which contains a lot of information about the New UI and a topic specifically about upgrading to the New UI.

http://www.grainge.org/pages/authoring/rh_tour/index.htm#t=rh2019%2Frh2019.htm

You may also find the sections for versions 11 to 2017 useful. (The 2017 one is also relevant for if you upgrade via 2019 Classic, as the interface and features are generally the same.)

I'm not sure how good the google translation will be, but hopefully it will help.
