Not sure what type of image files you are referring to.

You can get Adobe's dng converter and convert your camera files to dng.

Unfortunately you will need to go to a Adobe subscription plan or use some other standalone application.

If you are using Windows 10 you could select the CS6 icon and select properties, then compatibilities, and select windows 7 or windows 8

It will run in a windows VM 7 or 8 environment which will make the app more stable.

CS6 is a version 8 years ago and was support ended at 2014.
The final support for Camera Raw was 9.1.1, and it was provided in July 2015.
It does not support RAW data of cameras released after that.
Of course, CS6 is not supported Windows 10.
