can not remove background or resize looks like pixel

I purchased this file and can open it but its on the background like something is wrong with it all the other files I download and open in sure cuts a lot opens just fine thank you in advance

Hi @Becca254669777lti,

Please confirm that you have the most recent version of Adobe Illustrator. I was able to open the file and turn off the background layer with no issue. Perhaps I haven't understood the issue you are seeing if so then please provide additional details.
