problem with eating credits

The problem with credits being consumed is that despite entering a new prompt, it keeps generating the same images and consuming credits for each identical image. I enter new prompts to edit the image, and Firefly keeps generating the same image and charging 40 credits for each generated image, even though they are identical. This is a major problem because I had to buy another credit pack, and FireFly is consuming them by not generating new images or following my instructions.

Thank you for getting back to me, here is one example: I wanted a simple hand with a red card. It gave me a a wizard holding a red card.

I agree, Firefly was working great for me a month ago and now suddenly it is getting everything wrong when i prompt, recreating the same image, not listening AT ALL to my prompts. It feels intentional like Adobe want you to buy more credits. I won’t be using it again now and turning to a different image generator. It is sad because I was enjoying it a few months ago.

A shift like this, where the same prompt used to work and now consistently returns near-identical results is frustrating, and it's a fair thing to flag.

We want to understand what's happening here rather than chalk it up to normal variation. A few things that can cause this pattern specifically:

Reference or seed lock: if you're iterating from a previous generation, Firefly may be holding onto more of that original composition than intended, which reads as "not listening."
Model or feature mismatch: some workflows are built for targeted edits, others for full regeneration, using the wrong one for what you're trying to do can make output feel stuck.
Phrasing: describing what should change (rather than what shouldn't) gets more responsive results. For example, instead of "no frame, no zoom," try spelling out the exact composition you want to keep (since negative prompting isn’t supported).

If you're open to it, sharing some public links of repeated outputs here would help us look at what's happening rather than guess. We can also check whether there's a broader issue affecting generations around the timeframe you mentioned.

To understand what’s heppening, could you share a few details?

The prompt you used
Whether you were editing an existing image or starting fresh
Whether you were deleting the seed or keeping it with each edit
A screenshot showing the repeated generations

Just to clarify: credits are the cost for each generation, and while I can’t promise any adjustments, the details above will help us understand the situation and see what might be causing the repeats.
