Request for After Effects Older Version Installer
I am currently using a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) running macOS Big Sur 11.7.10.
I’m trying to install After Effects, but the Creative Cloud Desktop app shows "System Incompatible" for all versions. Because of this, the "Other versions" list is completely empty, and I cannot find any version available for install.
I believe After Effects 2021 (v18.x) or 2022 (v22.x) should be compatible with Big Sur. My questions are:
Is there a way to make these older versions appear in the Creative Cloud app?
Does Adobe still provide Direct Download Links (DMG files) for these versions if I contact support?
If Adobe no longer supports these, would using OCLP (OpenCore Legacy Patcher) to upgrade to Monterey be a viable solution for running After Effects on this specific hardware?
I would appreciate any advice or workarounds from anyone who has dealt with similar compatibility issues on older Macs.
