Hello,I am attempting to automate the process of adding a "Back to Index" button on the first page of each section of my PDF. All the pages I want to add the button to are bookmarked. I do know that you can duplicate a button on all pages, but really I only want the button on the FIRST page of each section. I have some coding experience, just not with Adobe javascript. I was thinking of an implementation that loops through all the bookmarks, pulling the page number they reference, and calling an "add button" function. Is this even possible? If so, could someone guide me along they way with some pre-written scripts?Or is there an easier way to do this? I appreciate any help!

My Javascript code for calculating a value from a specific date difference the debugger complains with no understandable reasons.E.g. I only know a bit of VBA, so Javascript is still a bit of a mistery to me.What I need is a program like this:If papersize = A4 or A3 ThenPrintsize = A4ElsePrintsize = A3This way, all our big drawings (A2-A0) will be printed on A3. The rest on A4. (Our A3 drawings are perfectly readable on A4 and that saves a lot of paper in the end.)I don't mind if this means that for a document of 20 pages, there will be 20 printjobs.thanks

I'm using the Javascript object interface to set properties of multiple annotations on a page. I would like the set the properties of all selected annotations at once but this method only allows setting the properties of one annotation at time, forcing me to iterate through all selected annotations and set them one at a time.  The is very slow.  In Acrobat DC user interface I can select multiple annotations and set all their properties at once (very quick).  Is there any programmatic means to accomplish this?

Hi Everyone,Our form requires about 5 different people to look at it, one after the other.  I set up a button for each person to press, once they sign it, to email a copy of the form along to the next person.Rather than sending a copy of the form via email, I'd like to have the button email the PDF file's location to the next person in line.  We all have a shared network so no problem regarding that.  I'm just not sure what I need to write in order to get this done!Any suggestions would be a appreciated!

Hi,I'm trying to script 3 different drop box in Adobe Acrobat Pro Dc and I'm wondering how I can script this so that when the first selection has been made in the first drop box, only certain selections would show in the second drop box and after selecting the second drop box only certain selections would show in the 3 drop boxthese are the 3 drop box im trying to script.So in the first drop box theres the services that people would choose for the cellphone and in the second drop box they have to select the IOS or Samsung etc. and the 3 drop box they would select the phone type they would like.is there anything or anyone that would be able to help me with this?

Hello world,I have a problem with a form I'm trying to put together; the form will be used to tally the amount of trucks coming into a job site (I.E. it is a grid with checkbox items that are ticked as trucks come in). The problem is, I'd also like to add the option of having a textbox with a value that will automatically tick the right amount of checkbox items, rather than checking them all one by one. I guess in summary the code would need to be like this: inputs > 0, Check Box 1 is checked. inputs > 1, Check Box 2 is checked, etc.I have no real experience with javascript, so any help would be appreciated,Thanks,

We have PDFs with lots of pages. On some pages we have links to external files like XLSX or PDF or folders. Is there a tool or a java script, which scans automatically all existing links in my PDF if the expected target of this link does exist? The popup menu is displayed properly in the dialog box, but there is no content in the dropdown, although it is defined. The purpose of the form i am making is to have blank fields as NOT readonly and fields that are filled in as readonly. If the filled in fields need to be modifed, i have an edit button that turns all fields that are readonly as false and once ONE field is edited it disables editing unless you click the edit button again. For ages, I have produced my "transparencies" by editing PDF files. I remove parts step by step in order to show those pages in reverse order, presenting my stuff paragraph by paragraph (or even line by line).In the new version of Acrobat Pro, editing (often) influences other parts of the slide, even other paragraphs that should not be effected, ruining my presentation. How can I make sure that nothing but the edited parts are effected, just like the good old touch up tool did? If that is not possible, I have to return to an old version.
