Setting CBR for encoding mp4 h264 files doesn't use the chosen data rate. Files are much too small tried AME cc17 and 18
Automatically remove AME folder after render
When sending a batch of CLIPS from Premiere to Media Encoder, Media Encoder sets the default Source Range to "Entire Clip", rather than "Clip In/Out". Clip In/Out should be the default selection, or there should be an easy way to change this for all clips in the queue, rather than having to set each clip individually.
Just update to the latest Premiere/Media Encoder. Also just updated Maxon suite. Before the updates and after, Media Enoder won't open any sequence with the Colorista effects applied. It starts to open then hangs about 3/4 through the process. (see attached image) I removed the Colorista and Media Encoder will open. Also, there were no issues a week or so ago on this project with Encoder and Colorista. Solutions?
Is there a way to have Media Encoder move a file to a dynamically provided folder via script (or any way) after rendering? I would like to use a Watch Folder and do the moving when rendering is complete. Thanks
Hi,My PC crashes when I try to render a master file of our VR/ 360 movie from Premiere/ Media Encoder (technically for Adobe the VR filme is just a normal equirectangular video 8192x4096). I try since a week.Strangly the single clips in the video are already sorts of master files (8K 60fps ProRes4444 files rendered in Media Encoder but from After Effects - rendering those worked, even with many masks, pre-comps, also lumetri colours too but even with NeatVideo and other effects). On some of those "sort of master files"I put lumetri for a final colour correction and on single ones little other fixes. Also most chose a new center of the 360 image (the image stays almost the same but is shifted). There is no error code, as the PC crashes or restarts at some point. It always stoped between the filesize of 60-85 GB.I tried:- Installed the latest Nvidia studio driver.- Deleted all Cash files- Cleaned to project so only the files in the timeline were left- Copied all data from the external SSD t
Im trying to create a low file size animated logo for my website with a transparent background and ive been instructed via online tutorials to use the preset export setting GoPro CineForm RGB 12-bit with Alpha at Maximum bit depth setting, but when I try and render (start cue button) it fails to execute ? (Incompatible video codecfound in the preset)

Hi I'm trying to export a a MOV file rendered in After Effects to a MP4, but it's seems to be sticking on the first few frames and looping. I've managed to get it to work on a previous version but his version is not working. The only change was a small change to the opacity timing. Any ideas?
Hello, i've a serious problem encoding from Premiere pro or After on media encoder. I've the lastest versions of all adobe software and MacOs. From after effect with a no complex scene, a 4 minutes video takes about 1h and a half to export in basic settings 1080p H264. A 3500€ mac should do better no ? My old intel imac export the same video in less than 10 minutes !Any ideas ?I've see a lot of peoples with similar problems (glitch and slow render, but no solutions) Thanks lot
Hi guys.Does anyone knows if there is a way to send an edit into media encoder and ask to export each clip of the edit separately (and even better, with handles)? Thanx Marc

I and the content creators in our studio have experienced an issue with PNG Sequences being converted to compiled video formats (4444, H.264, HAP, NotchLC, etc.). The issue is consistent and needs to be addressed. In this example, say I have a correct PNG sequence loop. Our example filename is s800_005_SparkleFun1_01000 , with the last 5 numbers being the frame number. Frame 0: s800_005_SparkleFun1_01000.pngFrame 1: s800_005_SparkleFun1_01001.pngFrame 2: s800_005_SparkleFun1_01002.png...Frame 298: s800_005_SparkleFun1_01298 I import the sequence into Media Encoder by hitting the "+" button and selecting the first PNG of the sequence. Even in the preview dialog you can see it dupes the first frame (s800_005_SparkleFun1_01000.png) and deletes the last frame (s800_005_SparkleFun1_01298.png). My current workaround is setting it to not render the firstframe using a custom length and duplicating and renaming the last frame (01298) to (01299). Plea
I have a six hour long video. When exporting, it says that the file size will be about 26gb. But everytime I render the full video, the finished file is 20gb max, with the last two hours not being playable. The first hours work perfectly fine, but as soon as you skip to the last few minutes, the media player (be it vlc, microsoft photos etc) crashes. I tried multiple different settings, but none changed the results. What can I do?
Hello I would love some help troubleshooting this issue - I've worked with several Adobe specialists now and no one has been able to fix the problem. It was working just fine and then all of a sudden - error message! I created an animation from 71 layers in Photoshop then went to Export > Render Video. I'm exporting the file to my desktop. The error message I receive every single time is "Could not complete the Render Video command because of a problem with Adobe Media Encoder." SPECSRender Video Settings: Adobe Media Encoder, Format H.264, Preset High Quality, 30 FPS, All Frames. Version of Media Encoder is 22.5. Mac OS Monterey 12.4. PS 22.5.8.
Hey together. I would like to provide a Media encoder export preset to several people. Within the export preset i do have set an FTP upload destination. But while providing the export preset, the password of the FTP upload settings gets lost. All the time. I have been searching through the configuration files of Media encoder or Premiere. No configuration file seems to safe this password. Does anybody have a clue where this password might be safed on a local windows machine? Maybe somewhere in the user registry? With this information i could make a script to exchange the password for several people. I have tried Media encoder Version 22 and version 21.
Hello everyone, I'm having a problem with a file I'm trying to render Looks totally fine on premiere, but while rendering with Media Encoder looks like this I have no idea what to call this to even look for a solution. Appreciate any help
For a while I thought I was going crazy. For work we take a full show and export it in segments (using in and out points) from Premiere to AME. So for example, I am editing a 1 hour TV show. I have to export it in 6 segments (for commercial breaks) so I will set the in and out points for segment 1 and send it to AME and then do the same with segments 2-6 befor batch exporting. When AME is done exporting the segments are all wrong, some are duplicated (but named differently) and Its not user error because its been happening with every single show since the update. I have reverted back to v22.4 to see if that fixes it
Hi! I'm trying to convert a DnxHD videofile to H264.The videos are in a 1:1 aspect with square pixels and a size of 1920x1920.I've tried different source formats, the result is always the same. This is how the video looks like. It's a screenshot of the result: I've tried several settings, using hardware and software eoncoding, different sizes and bitrates. So I already did a lot of troubleshooting without success. We didn't change anything, this is our standard workflow which out of nowhere produces these kind of results. Does anyone know this issue and how to solve it? Thank you
Hello all: Having an issue when Batch exporting from PPro to AME. It is taking up to 5 to 7 minutes to export three timelines that are about a 1.30 each. In the past getting timelines from Premier Pro to encoder was usually pretty quick. I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything twice but I still get the same results. Even when I bring just one timeline from Premier into encoder it can take up to seven minutes. Does anybody know if there is a fix for something like this? My system is Windows 10 with 64 gigs of ram and running an i7 processor at 3.2 GHz. My graphics card is the Nvidia 1080. My video storage system is the qnap 673 with six bays each running 10 TB hard drives that all spin at 7200. The connection from qnap to computer is through a 10 Gb card, so the connection is solid and fast. any help would be great and thanks.
I use after effects everyday for my work and always send my files to media encoder to export. Never had an issue no matter the file size. Today, all of a sudden, my media encoder won't export any of my files or even connect to the dynamic link server. They are both running on v 22.5. Please offer some asitance ASAP, as I have deadlines for today that need to be met.
Hey! I have rendered half my project in media encoder, but as a last scene in my project I have a single picture for 20minutes. So I wonder Can I press the red symbol and still get a file that contains the 50% that is already rendered?
All project in a minuteBut the last second takes more than an hourWhen merging audio and videois there a solution ?
