Thanks for sharing this information. I am very dissappointed with Adobe for not fixing this yet again. There are very many screens that require 125% and 150% scaling and for some reason Adobe just ignores this problem.... maybe next year's update will fix this, but probably not.

Thanks, yes... but I was hoping to not go through the process only to be disappointed again. I'll see if anyone has checked into this and will download the trial if needed at a later time. Thanks again

Can someone tell me if PSE 2023 finally supports higher resolution displays. The older programs offered High Density settings for 100% and 200% which were of no use to me and has held me back from upgrading to the latest version. Any information would be appreciated... thanks!

I'm looking at giving the Photoshop Elements 18 Windows store app a try. After a bug-ridden PE15 Windows store app (which I had to get a refund)...I was hoping to get some type of confirmation that PE18 has worked through these problems and is a stable app before making the purchase. If anyone could confirm the newly launched PE18 Windows store app is stable, please reply...thanks.

I have gotten a refund from Microsoft and will be downloading the desktop version from Adobe. Hopefully the Windows version will have the bugs worked out because this is a nicer way of purchasing apps.

While holding Ctrl + Alt + Shift keys and launching editor it asked to "Skip loading optional and third party plugins", I selected Yes. The problem still exists. I noticed that when dragging images from one window to another window within PSE 15, the app will crash regularly. Can you tell me when this will be fixed?

Same problem here...
Here's what I have come across so far...
XP Home / IE7 - no problems installing through the
auto-update, no video issues
Vista Home Premium / IE7 - had to run the uninstall / install
procedure, everything works fine after that
Vista Ultimate / IE7 - must run the uninstall / install
procedure everytime I restart the computer in order for it to work
Any thoughts?

I have run through the full uninstall / install process many
times and this is what happens.
1. Everything works fine...including YouTube videos as well
as videos that use swfobject and similar.
2. After restarting the computer, videos stop working. In
order to watch videos, I need to uninstall / install the latest
Flash Player every time. It seems that something gets lost in the
process.
My operating system is Vista Ultimate, my primary browser is
IE7
Any other thoughts?

I took the following from MS:
1. Log on to Windows as Administrator.
2. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories,
point to System Tools, and then click System Restore. System
Restore starts.
3. On the Welcome to System Restore page, click Restore my
computer to an earlier time (if it is not already selected), and
then click Next.
4. On the Select a Restore Point page, click the most recent
system checkpoint in the On this list, click a restore point list,
and then click Next. A System Restore message may appear that lists
configuration changes that System Restore will make. Click OK.
5. On the Confirm Restore Point Selection page, click Next.
System Restore restores the previous Windows XP configuration, and
then restarts the computer.
6. Log on to the computer as Administrator. The System
Restore Restoration Complete page appears.
7. Click OK.
I checked it out on another computer and it worked fine.
Also, I heard back from customer service again...no luck
though, just got the basic info I read on this forum and help
topics. It was a little disappointing that they really didn't care
too much about this.
I'm stumped on this...anyone else have some ideas..?

I did receive an email back from customer service, no answer
though. I have enquired further to see what has happened in the
latest upgrade to cause this.

A system restore brings your Windows settings back to a
previous configuration. It does not affect your documents,
pictures, personal files etc...
Using Vista...go to your Start menu and click on Control
Panel. Go to Backup your computer and follow the wizard.
After I had done mine I checked my Flash Player version and
it was back to 9.0.115.0 and working properly.

For my restore, I went back 5 days prior...just to make sure.
After that, I did all my window updates and everything worked
normally again.
I hope to hear from Adobe soon as to what is happening on
this matter.

Thanks evan...this has fixed my problem. Now my only concern
are the other people that have made the mistake of updating their
flash player and are not able to use certain parts of my websites.
I have sent an email to further find out what is happening in
regards to the latest flash player update.

I have experienced the exact same problem and have spent the
whole day trying to fix it, no luck yet...
I have tried the unistall, reinstall as mentioned in other
threads. I have been able to get things working after a fresh
install. As soon as my computer is restarted, everything stops
working again until I uninstall and reinstall the Flash Player.
All was working perfectly untill this last update prompted me
to install the latest version this morning.
Please let me know what is needed to fix this or go back to
an earlier version...I am completely frustrated as many of my
websites use flash and I can't imagine what the financial
consequences could be.
Please help
