That's true. I trued using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and it loses the link altogether. When created in Word, the link still works but when you hover over it, it shows the path to the file. When created in Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, the link disappears. Shouldn't it retain the link?

In MS Word 2010, we can create a hyperlink and give it a 'Screentip' that appears on mouse-hover. When I save my document as PDF ...... I am losing this screen-tip value ....... and the tool-tip is rather replaced by the actual hyper-link URL. Is there any way to retain the screen-tip from Word and get the same behavior as how it is there in Word ? Thanks, Pat

I have several PPT presentations that contain fairly extensive animation. These were imported to Brainshark at which point, audio was added and sync'd to the animation. Video clips were also added. <o >> My client would now like to eliminate the use of Brainshark and convert the existing PPTs to Captivate. Can you tell roughly what this conversion would involve? I do not want to recreate these elearning modules from scratch in Captivate. Yet I cannot find out how I would insert the .mp3 files and sync the screen animation to the audio. Can you provide any advice as to how to best accomplish this. Thank you in advance for your help.<o >> <o > >

At the risk of sounding dumb, what is whitelisting? "Note that these settings only matter when working locally (ie. affecting you). If you have any hosted space you can try uploading your module to, that would work as well." Unfortunately, at this time I dont have anywhere I can upload it to but I guess i can try to upload it to the ADOBE server. I will try that tomorrow. Thanks again for your help.

It does work when i preview the project but does not work after I actually publish the project. I cant figure out why. The cursor turns into the "hand" but when i click on it, nothing happens. It's not the pop up blocker. I've turned it off. It's weird because it workd in the PDF files tha Captivate generates and, like I said, in Preview mode. It just doesnt work in the published file. I'm using Captivate 5.0 and Windows 7. Thanks so much for your help. I'm new to this and do not have anyone here that can help!

I am new to captivate and am having a problem. On one of my slides, I have a link to a website. I placed a click box over the text and set the action to Open URL or file and specified the URL to open in a new window. When I publish the project, the link works when I am in the published PDF file but it does not work when I am in the published SWF or HTM file. Can someone give me some advice on what I may be doing wrong? IF this has been addresssed elsewhere, I am sorry for the duplication. I have searched and could not find anything. Thanks in advance.
