Hi Monika, thanks for the reply! I am working on a PC. I'm not sure what kind of font file Bahnschrift is. It just came preloaded into Adobe. I've never loaded in any additional fonts, I just use what comes with the program. I do not use font management.

I just made a graphic in Illustrator the other day using the Bahnschrift font and it was working fine. Today, I create a new text box, type, highlight the words, and select Bahnschrift from the drop-down menu and it automatically reverts to Myriad Pro. All the other fonts I have tried are working. I just updated Illustrator to the most recent version and it's still happening. Help!

Is there such thing as "too much" metadata? Does metadata contribute to overall file size? Could too much metadata result in slower download time?

Hi Jacob, sorry I don't understand your question -- what do you mean by Artboard corners? My Artboard is set to Width: 8.5 in and Height: 5.5 in. I don't see any settings for "corners" in Artboard Options.

Also -- when I look at the Reference Points, it says that the bottom of the image is at "5.5 in," which should be the absolute bottom of the Artboard, but the white line is still there.

I created an Artboard that is 5.5" tall. I placed two images, and made each one 2.75" tall. I want to align them vertically, so that they take up the whole Y-axis of the artboard (and I assumed they would fit because 2.75 + 2.75 = 5.5"). I selected the images one by one, opened Window > Align. In the Align window, I used the "Align to Artboard" option. The image on the top seems to have aligned correctly. However, the image on the bottom is not quite at the bottom of the Artboard. There is a thin white line between the edge of the Artboard and the bottom of the image. Does anyone know how to fix this? My Preferences are set up as: Grid Preferences: Style: Lines Gridline every: 1 in Subdivisions: 8 "Show Pixel Grid (Above 600% Zoom)" is checked. Smart Guides Preferences: "Alignment Guides" is checked "Object Highlighting" is checked "Transform Tools" is checked "Anchor/Path Labels" is checked "Measurement Labels" is checked "Spacing Guides" is checked "Construction Guides" is not checked Snapping Tolerance: At first it was set to 2 pt, and then I tried using the Align to Artboard feature with Snapping Tolerance at 0 pt, but still have the same white line at the bottom. Problem solved! For anyone else having the same issue -- use Photoshop instead of Illustrator. First select the Crop tool. Then in the top left corner, click the drop-down menu that says "Ratio" and select "W x H x Resolution." Then enter the desired pixel dimensions and ppi. So for my example, I entered "250 px x 250 px x 150 px/in." Thanks everyone for the help!

I have an image that is 5472 x 3648 pixels, and 300 dpi. I am trying to crop it to 250 x 250 pixels, with 150 dpi in JPG format. When I created the document in Illustrator (File > New), I made the artboard 250 x 250, and set the Raster Effects to "Medium (150 ppi)." When I "Save for Web (Legacy)," the image saves with the correct pixels (250 x 250), but the dpi is 96. When I "Export as... JPEG (*JPG)," I set Quality: Medium, Compression Method: Baseline Optimized, Resolution: Medium (150 ppi), and Anti-aliasing: Art Optimized. Then, the exported file is the right dpi (150), but the pixels are 522 x 522. How can I export so that I get the correct pixels AND correct dpi?
