I am on Mac having latest Lr versions installed but synchronisation doesn't work correct as synchronisation doesn't sync all photos. It seems to stuck on some pictures and for hours the blue spinning synchronisation icon appears on lr classic. stoping and restarting lr classic doesn't solve. As well not deleting the synchronisation file which is in same folder as catalog. hence wondering what needs to be done

Hi, with the recent updates or AI it seems that masking isn't accurate as before. Please check the picture the mask doesnt cover the body correctly and hence the white borders. Please get his fixed. Appears as well on the iOS devices with same issue. Deleting a mask and applying the mask again doesn't solve the issue.

"one can still rotate" haha yes of course thats not in question at all but this limites the edit due to fact that this horizontal screen is then smaller and of course less convient to edit compared to landscape mode. Seems you didnt edit a lot via phone which I use often even as a professional a MUST have!

Acoording to Adobe site https://helpx.adobe.com/at/lightroom-cc/kb/faq-install-presets-profiles.html it states that "Die Presets und Profile, die du in Lightroom Desktop installiert hast, werden automatisch mit Lightroom auf Mobilgeräten synchronisiert. " meaning profiles! and not only presets get synched automaticlly but this is not the case as I do have on LrClassic the "Adobe standard" profile for Nikon z6 version I but on iOS LRCC I do have only the "Adobe Standard v2" profile which causes then issues with the ton curve. So how to copy the "Adobe standard" version to LrCC? Only workaround I would see is to set the pictures I have shooten with z6 to "Adobe standard V2" and then to reset the Ton settings but NOT of course to a fixed value (double click on the ton does that magic) . How could this be done ? I

Adobe needs to add in iOS LrMobile an easy access to mask -> background. This requires more clicks then necessary as you need to invert every time eg. the motiv. Enough space is availiable to easily add that important mask.

Okay already have a ticken open to restore all devices back to Version 8.5.x as this version is a nightmare and design by someone who is only intersted in editing for social media content but not for real professionals. Worst version ever.

No I want to have at least one iPhone on 8.5.x so that I CAN MAKE USE OF HORIZONTAL EDIT UI which has been removed in 9.x version. If this and the easy option to c/p from previous pictures without having to use more key strokes doesn't come back I will not upgrade. How can I go back on all devices to 8.5.x ? LRclassicCC is still on the older version hence will that not upgrade too. By the way basic thinks like copy masking on multiple selection/photos is still missing. Same as using color selections/marking

Are they kidding and made the horizontal editing on Lr mobile 9 gone ??? If this I true I smash the new release against the wall. and as well the option to easily apply the editing of a previous photo with one click to the next one is right now more clicks away. stupid product team !!!

It happend twice occasionally. issue was that after step 7 LRC did syn back the non edited pictures from step1 to iPad/iPhone. Meaning that the edits have been lost. i figured out lately that I need to check first before opening LrC to check the cloud sync status via https://lightroom.adobe.com/ and whether the iPad /iPhone edits are there too. Hi Rikk, I was importing Raws in LR Classic CC then creating an album to be synched into the cloud which all worked fine as I started to edit the files on LR mobile 8.2.2 (Mac turned off) . LR mobile has of course mobile sync on and a files have been as well downloaded locally on mobile Lr with "local saving" or in German "Lokal speichern" turned on in the Lr mobile. Afer I edited the 400pictures I wanted to synch the edits of course back to Lr 12.2.1 in order to export for a customer. During the synch unfortuntly the non edited pictures on Mac got synched back to Lr mobile meaning the edited pictures have been overwitten and I could restart my work. Unfortunaly I think there is no way to re-do a synch (Alt Z) as for other functions. Only workaround is at the moment to check with https://lightroom.adobe.com/ in advance reg. synch status. But there should be a check on Lr CC and LR mobile which edit is more actual from a time stamp perspective and warn users that there is an issue reg. Synchronization. Regards Tobias

I am having issues that Lr synchronizes pictures in the wrong order. Meaning when I edit a picture on Lr mobile and then open LR classic on my Mac the edited pictures gets overwritten by the non edit picture from the Mac. Are we again in the kindergarden where Adobe releases to early a iOS update which is not compatible with Adobe Classic CC and pictures can't be edit on Classic CC after some mobile editing ? Hi, while I edit a picture e.g. template, radial mask, linear mask etc and then select the edited picture and press "copy" and as a next step select multiple pictures where I would like to have the template & masks applied to only the template gets copied but not the masks. Any idea whether this is not possible or what is wrong. I am on version 7.4.2 Attached picture shows the pictures I would like to apply in bulk the changes while presssing the "einfügen" / paste button on Mobile CC iOS.

With todays update the long awaited feature and discussion on " P:(Masking) Add auto update recompute to subject /sky masking after copy/paste" was finally implemented on Desktop but NOT on Smartphone CC version. Hence this feature MUST come as well to the cloud apps for LR !

The new masking features like object or sky are all great but for copy and paste on next picture to be edited the user has every time to click on update on all applied masks. This should be automated that no clicks are required anymore if user copies all settings to the next picture. "Vom vorherigen Foto anwenden"

yes we are at least on CC version. Classic you have but you can't eg flag in cc and then get this synced back into classic LR. Thats a big joke. What only works is text but takes more time in case you want to flag pictures for blog and use the stars in a different way.

Hi, as Adobe per nature doesn't support multiple catalogs and synchronization with their cloud solution I would like to know what the best workflow looks like. I do have a main MacA where I store my catalog, preview on C drive and most of the 70K Pictures on an external drive. New Pictures I do Import on MacA and synch them in cloud for selection and Basic adjustments. When I now install Classic CC on MacB and do want to work on Pictures eg. just to select out from a Shooting the best ones, my idea would be to copy the catalog from MacA and previews on an external SSD and copy these two on MacB. Importing the new shot Pictures then on MacB (having in mind that all other Pictures will not appear) and starting the sychronization. Once I finish on MacB & Cloud I copy the catalog and smartpreview back on MacA and of course as well the imported Pictures from MacB or SSD drive on MacA. Is this the best Option that would work or what kind of workflow you use in such a Scenario. Having in mind that MacA and MacB are on two different locations and desktop Macs.

Sure I turned on sync in Classic cc 😉 And yes I logged in and out everywhere where I could too 😉 Adobe Support mentioned to me that the issue is related to Photos where the links are missing (donT recall the excect wording in LR CC) well I had >1500pictures that by the way I never uploaded to the cloud or which I deleted after editing in the cloud and remain on my catalog on my hard drive and which worked over a couple of months fine. Due to the fact that the cloud didn't work hence I deleted these Pictures from my catalog and shut down my Mac over night. Next morning I tried to sync again and it did work. As such I don't know whether this really solved my issue or Adobe just restarted some of their Servers 😉 So in case you experience the same issue. My advice would be: Login in/out everyhwere, in case that doesn't help deleted pictrues where a link seems broken or reassign the linkage although the Pictures might have never been uploaded to cloud and good luck.
