Hello again: I have AI CS3. I don't print with it that often, but this evening, I wanted to make a few bookmarks, which I then would LAMINATE, and use. But I CAN'T PRINT. The reason for this, is because the machine has a program task bar at the bottom, which BLOCKS ACCESS to the PRINT BUTTON. (see the below screen shot, where I drew the red arrow showing that the PRINT BUTTON is obscured by the program task bar, and CAN NOT BE USED). I did a screen shot, and the only reason I was able to save that, was because I was able to load PHOTOSHOP from the task bar, and saved it that way. I then re-loaded the screenshot .JPEG file into Illustrator, and drew the red arrow, pointing out the error. This could only happen with Adobe. When I can not print, the only way to close the file, and the program is to WARM-BOOT the machine. The PRINT COMMAND BUTTON is UNAVAILABLE, as I pointed out....and when you move that window up, it snaps right back down to the bottom of the page again. WHEN is Adobe going to learn how to code the placement of its buttons correctly? So I had to HAND DRAW THEM with a sharpie, and laminate them, even though I have an expensive graphics program that is UNUSABLE FOR PRINTING, because of design flaws. Maybe i should look at Corel Draw..... Thank you, Carl Starke
