Recently, not sure how long ago, Adobe Reader DC started occasionally not giving me smooth scrolling when viewing multipage documents. I have Adobe DC reader set in my preferences, in the Page Display section on the left, to have Single Page Continuous be my view. Now SOME files will scroll smoothly--I will see the bottom of page 2 at the top of my screen, and at the same time, I get the top of page 3 towards the bottom of my screen. This is the default behavior that I want all the time. But some times (I think with PDFs that I"ve downloaded, this problem arises most or all of the time) the pages will scroll hard, and move a page at a time. Is there any way to ensure that I get smooth scrolling all the time?

I will often print documents (various file types) from my Windows 10 context menu. Normally they are just sent to my (wireless) printer, but when I print a PDF file from my context menu, I find that Adobe Reader DC will open it up for a few seconds, before/while sending it to the printer. This is an annoyance as it keeps me from doing whatever else I was doing. Is there any way to turn this "feature" off?

I rarely have bookmarks in PDFs that I view, and if they are there, I rarely want to use them. Is there a way to get Acrobat Reader DC (I have the most recent version, 2015.023.20070) to not show the bookmarks, or any other left pane matter, by default?

John, if you have a minute or two, I'd love to see what you have to say about my problem: Printing of PDFs shows slurred ink and missing graphics I have issues with the newest (15.017.20053) DC reader printing some PDFs I've made.

I thought I was posting a question about the DC reader to the proper forum, and it turns out I was posting it to the Acrobat reader forum. Printing of PDFs shows slurred ink and missing graphics Can someone (a forum moderator) please move it to the DC reader forum? That way, I can be more likely to get an answer to it. I tried moving it myself, but only saw links to mobile devices for the DC reader forum, so I just left my thread where it still is.

Thanks. I forgot to say that I don't have the Pro version. There is no "Updater" category. I thought DC was their free product. Anyways, I am on the free DC reader. No updater category. Is it tucked away somewhere else?

I just installed Acrobat DC reader after a hiatus of several years from Acrobat products. So far, I like what I see. I did look in the preferences for update settings, but I didn't see anything. Is there a way to see what the default update settings are, and to modify them?
