I think I solved it -- When you go to the App Store, if you search for Adobe illustrator it simply says "open" since I have a version on my iPad. However, when you type "Ai for iPad max 21 update "-- you get a search item that says it's an ad. When you click on this, an update button pops up, and I was able to update. I have tried teh body tracker and am very excited - however, if I use it with my laptop, I seem to have to move way way back in order for my whole body to appear in the frame. Is this because of the laptop and camera ?  Is there a recommended type of camera? The body tracking for the part of my body visible in the camera works really really well, but when I have to move this far back, its not working well event hough I can see the tracking lines for my arms, legs and head. Would a wide angle camera with a larger monitor work better? what do you recommend? ... View more

Played around with the puppet maker a little bit -- I really like it. However, would love to see a couple of things: a) children!!! I work with children and their parents, and its been a struggle getting 'kid' puppets. b) I tried the full body character style, but once I generated the puppet, I tried to scale the size of the puppet in character animator, and it scaled the whole scene. Is this what should happen? I wanted the puppet to be smaller relative to the background,  but for some reason the whole panel was being scaled. c) I was able to make several characters with different features -- as you said in the video - more styles will make it even more flexible. One feature that would be terrific is to be able to draw something and directly import it into puppetmaker - I would love to have this feature as it will make character animator accessible to younger children I work with - in addition to me of course. Thanks!  Yes - We actually use maestra to translate and get the translated srt file. We find that if we make sure and clean up the orignial audio subtitles, then the translation is much cleaner. Still not perfect, but pretty good so that a person listening can understand what's being said.  ... View more

The automatic captioning/subtitling in premiere is awesome. However, I'm wondering if there is any way to auto translate the subtitles/captions and apply them to the time code? I'm creating some videos where I need to have subtitles in several languages. Hi - I'm just starting a project like this with me and a puppet for educational video. How exactly do you put the puppet scene and my video together? In after effects? Is there a way to import my video into CA as background and then do the puppet part of conversation? Any help is appreciated. I'm fairly good with individual puppets but not an expert by any means. Also, I would like the puppet to be sitting either at a table or on the floor (like a child would). Any suggestions for an efficient way to do this? I know I can do both ends of the conversation as videos, then cut and put them together. Any other way? Thanks in advance for any help! ... View more

Hello - I've struggles for the past 3-4 days because adobe connect keeps freezing on my MacBook Pro running 10.14.6 i have removed and reinstalled the application multiple times. It is not a connectivity issue because I'm now hosting all my meetings with the exact set up within the browser using flash. Today, I've had absolutely no issues during my meeting --- so it is something to do with the adobe connect application. I contacted support through chat who simply said it was a connectivity issue. It's not. It's possible that it isn't getting uninstalled properly. I couldn't find any files in the application support folder in the library or in any other. Anyway, for now, I'm just running all my meetings in the browser.  ... View more

Is it possible to have an example baby or child puppet?  I've tried to swap out the body parts in the examples given but it never looks quite right I am beginning a project where I need to animate a small child or infant and a mom --- as part of a training program for parents of deaf children. I think my problem is the body proportions -- don't know how to substitute the example puppets with different body proportions and maintain all the rigs.  Any help is appreciated. Thanks ... View more
