Wait. Hold up, are you saying that if I have 30 files in a folder that is not called "Links" I would have to relink every single one of them manually if the folder name or path changed?

This has happened to me so many times, i'm finallly gonna post because it makes me furious. I link graphics all the time, big fan it of it. I don't embed them unless I have and when i do it's usually because i need to crop something or change the resolution to make the file more managable. SO MANY TIMES, illustrator crashes, and then in the recovered file, the embedded graphics are just white boxes (but still showing as embeddded in LINKS. This has been going on for at least 2 years and on different systems. Tonight I exported one of them out of curiousity and noticed the file was 1.8MB. I though oh, perhaps if i open that .psd i'll find a white layer over my image! But no, it's just a 1.8 MB white box. Its is impossible for me to easily repostion several images that have, for some reason, just blown up. They have callouts and previs graphics over them. Is anyone else familiar with this scenario?

I can't figure out what character to search to strip out extra normal paragraph returns in my illustrator file. ^p has always worked in the past in InDesign. On the pull down, it only shows the characgter for a forced line break. I've googled high and low... the answer will be appreciated.

Hello friends. I have to use long file names in my work. Is there a way to widen the recent files dropdown? It's really annoying to guess which one file I'm opening since i often have filenames that are close.

Hi Rob, I just found this while trying to solve a similar problem. I successfully added a stroke to a clipping path by using the direct selection tool. However, now that I see the stroke, if I align it to the inside or outside, the stroke disappears (even though those options are not dim and selectable). Any thoughts on that?

I am going through these steps for the fourth time (every time a creative cloud update needs to be done) and I am REALLY unhappy about it. I have searched high and low for an answer to why this just doesn't work properly and will certainly appreciate any info with regard to that.
