@sameerk I have just encountered this problem. Is a "dash" regarded as a special character? Every single folder of mine has a dash and its never been a problem. I also dont want to uninstall LrC because I dont want to re-import every single photo +-400K and I dont want to battle with the settings again especially since I have just got everything working perfectly....until the latest update. This is really annoying. Adobe should be fixing things not breaking them 😉

Hi Tariq, Problem finally solved, thank you for your patience. I used the AdobeAc Cleaner Tool and then tried re-installing. I have no idea where it got a file linked to an Adobe Acrobat installation since I had not installed it yet on the new drive. Perhaps one of the softwares I installed tried to install Adobe as well, thats the only reasoning I can come up with. Nevertheless, Cleaner Tool + re-installation = success 🙂 Kind regards Rute

Hi Tariq, Thanks for your assistance. I didn't restore any backup. I installed a brand new ssd hard drive and started installing from scratch so I wouldn't inherit any errors from my previous drive, therefore this is a brand new installation of Adobe Reader which means there won't be any remnants from a previous installation. It occurred to me that perhaps it has something to do with permissions, so I will also explore that route. If it doesn't work, then I will try the cleaner tool and revert back with a response. Hi, Ive just installed a new hard drive on my Mac and reinstalling all my software from scratch. I have tried for the last few days to install Acrobat Reader with no luck. It makes like its installing and then it stop when it gets to the scripts and throws out an error message and then it fails: This is a brand new installation so there were no pre-existing Adobe apps. I really need Acrobat to work. Any suggestions? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you. Rute

My Welcome screen gives me the option of Organizer or Editor, so that was actually available on 15.0 Why must Adobe make things so complicated for users? Argh. 99jon, thanks for your help 🙂

I did but apps purchased from the Mac App store dont come with serial numbers as it requires a Mac password to download. Thats according to the FAQ on the Mac App store. So Im still sitting with a version that I cannot update and cant register on my Adobe account.

Last year, 30th November 2016, I purchased PSE15 via Mac App Store. I wanted to update it now and realised 2 things: 1. I dont have a serial number even though I must've entered one when I installed it. System Info shows Serial Number as a blank. 2. There is no update option How do I update my software that I paid for? (Standalone)

Hi there, I dont have the "Updates" in the Help Menu. I use Mac with OS Sierra and I just cannot find the Updates section so I can update my Camera Raw plug in from 9.7 to 9.9. I have downloaded the 9.9 version and installed it....but how do I get Elements to see it? I have no clue as to where it was installed to. I use Elements 15 as a stand alone and not on the creative cloud. Some assistance would be appreciated. Thank you Rute
