I AM A RETURNING CUSTOMER FROM 5 YRS AGO.I AM NOT SURE IF I INSTALLED ALL OF THESE APPS/PROGRAMS OR NOT, ON 3/21/26: Lr V: 9.2; Lr Classic V:15.2.1 (which I want), PS 2026, V: 27.5.0.13 (WHICH I WANT) & CREATIVE CLOUD V: 6.9.0.6181 (WHICH I THINK IS IN MY PHOTOGRAPHY PLAN) I'M WONDERING IF HAVING ALL OF THESE PROGRAMS IS MY PROBLEM. SOME PROBLEMS WERE IMMEDIATE:FOR A WHILE THE LIBRARY MODULE FROZE-"NOT RESPONDING" ALMOST CONSTANTLY. IT HAS NOT HAPPENED WITH NEW V: 15.2.1THE DEVELOP MODULE NEVER HAD ALL THE TOOLS IN THE PANEL & I'VE TRIED FIXING THAT. EXAMPLE: THE HUE/SATURATION/LUMINENCE PANEL WILL NOT STAY IN THE PANEL. WHEN I TRY TO USE THE SPOT REMOVAL TOOL, Lr CLOSES ABRUPTLY & HAPPENS VERY MUCH WITH OTHER TOOLS. WHEN I EXPORT TO PS, THE IMAGE IS MEDIUM SIZE. Kann LR Classic seit dem Update vor einer Woche nicht mehr starten. Erhalte die Meldung, dass der Katalog beschädigt ist und die Reparatur scheitert.Nutze Windows 10 und habe kein Katalog Backup.Neuinstallation nützt auch nichts.Wer kann mir, auch gegen Bezahlung, helfen ?Wolfgang Endl, Salzburg- Grödig

Depuis quelques semaines LR Classic crashes très fréquemment, parfois toutes les 5 minutes alors que LR n’est pas dans une activité spécifique ou intensive.Ce problème est apparu peut être après la dernière MAJ de LR, ou peut être de MacOS …??? Les crashes arrivent dans des cirsconstances variées… pas de pattern spécifique et avec une utilisation très peu intensive de LR, visulalisation de photos, parfois lors de déplacements de photos d’un dossier à un autre, mais rien d’intensif..  

In LR 15.2, Help > Map Module Shortcuts shows the wrong keys for Show Filter Bar in these four languages: Language Shown Should Be DE \ < ES \ , FR \ $ SV \ ,

W tym oknie jest błąd w tłumaczeniu na język polski. Powinno pisać “Usuwanie kurzu” a nie Dust Removal 

I unselected the “Enable hover preview of presets, history and snaphots in Loupe” option in the preferences but even though it is turned off, it is still previewing in case of hovering the mouse over any history state of snapshot. It doesn’t do the preview on the presets, but it is still previews the history and snapshots which it is not supposed to do, because the option is purposely turned off.Lightroo Classic 15.2

Issue: The Point Color functionality has stopped working post upgrade.Steps to reproduce: Mask an area of the image, then go to Point Color under the mask adjustment section, click the dropper icon and then move the cursor to the image. At that point the dropper icon vanishes (as soon as the cursor moves over the image). [I can’t select any colour/area within the mask.I can see previous colours I have selected prior to the upgrade within the Point Color settings and can manipulate them.Expected result: when clicking the dropper icon, I should be able to move to my mask and select a colour to then manipulate. In Lightroom Classic grid mode, the top toolbar now covers part of the grid. In full-screen mode I can't even see the file names. Is this something I can fix here?

Lr Classic 15.0.1 macOS 26.1   Steps: 1: Enter Develop mode for Photo A 2: Click Copy... to copy settings 3: Select all settings.... but uncheck Crop 4: Go to Photo B and paste settings (if prompted select either Merge or Replace... it doesn't affect reproducibility)   Results: I see the crop was applied to Photo B even though crop was not selected when pasting. I didn't test this for other combinations of settings but perhaps others here might have other occurences of their own.

Creating a develop preset with Remove selected but no Remove commands applied to the photo appears to succeed.  A .xmp file is created, but the preset doesn’t appear in the Presets panel. To reproduce on LR 15.2 / Mac OS 26.2: 1. Open a photo in Develop and click Reset. 2. Create a preset named “_remove”, with just Remove, Reflections, People, and Dust checked.  Observe that no error is displayed but “_remove” doesn’t appear in the Presets panel, though the file “_remove.xmp” appears in the Settings folder. 

I’m laboriously working on ridding my computer of duplicate images. I wonder if anyone has developed a technique les tedious than what I’m doing. I know LR doesn’t find duplicates so this is what I’m doing now:Run a duplicate file finder program that lists the duplicatesCheck LR (version 4.4) to see if they are in it.If  both are, I mark one as rejected and proceed to the next in the listIf only one is, I use Windows Explorer to confirm the non LR image is indeed on my computer and delete it in Explorer, sometimes moving the LR image to the folder of my choiceIf neither is there, I import one to LR, and delete the other in Explorer.Filter LR images for the rejected attribute and delete all these from the disk Am I making this harder than it should be?  How are you all dealing  with eliminating duplicates? Thanks, hal

Since LrC 15 I get this popup: Smart previews have been the single thing that kept Lightroom Classic moving decently for me, even when my Macbook was brand new, even when I made super powerful workstations before that. Lightroom Classic has always been slow loading original images, no matter what I did, except for enabling the use of smart previews.Now the app says I should disable the only thing making usable for someone editing thousands of pics at a time. Now I have to go through several steps when I need one of the new models (because working with smart previews does indeed lower the output quality), then go through several steps again to enable the use of smart previews, when the only logical thing to do was probably a single line of code saying “if CurrentPic.source == SmartPreview {CurrentPic.source == Original} when using one of the features needing originals.Please fix this simple yet horrendous user experience bug asap.

I have been using LR for many years and have had no problem with dragging images in the film strip to reorder them. Recently, this has become very erratic. Sometimes it works okay other times, even though the cursor shows I have picked up the image, when I drop it it either just returns to the original place, drops somewhere random or even sometimes another image will randomly change place.I have tried shutting down and restarting both my laptop and LR but the problem persists. I have the order set to, ‘custom’. I have also collapsed and reopened the filmstrip. The problem also occurs in the library module using grid view.What once took my 5 minutes is now taking hours, it’s very frustrating. Any help would be great.Dave
