I have plenty open requests on user voice that are older than 5 years without any action taken. "We are looking into it" - Adobe doesn't care. If it doesn't immediately generates profit, they will not bother. That's why they killed XD instead of improving the solid base they already had. But enough ranting. Thanks for your help!

This actually works, even when it's a weird non-intuitive workaround. No I can at least copy the colors manually, keeping the right names, but they still don't sync, when I update the artwork in the cloud.

As I said, dragging the colors from my library in the current Illustrator Version doesnt work. I need to use the context menu to move them to my swatches. But all of that doesnt matter, because manually copying the library swatches to my local swatche (AND having to rename them one by one each time), defeats the idea of having a cloud library in the first place. Would literally be easier to safe my local swatches as an ace file and import them manually from dropbox. But at least we have an AI generator now. Right?

Helly community, maybe someone here can help me, because I just canÄt find an answer anywhere else on the web. I have a CC library with color swatches of a company styleguide. When I colorize objects in Illustrator everything works, but the colors are not connected or updated from the CC library. So when I update the library colors, nothing changes in the illustrator document. I also can't drag an drop colors from the CC library panel onto the document objects or edit the colors from the panel (have to go into PS for that). I could copy all my colors from the CC library to my local swatches, losing all the names, but that somehow misses the point of having the colors in the cloud. Am I missing something here?

This is just one more lacking feature that baffles me. Switching the language should be a simple dropdown menu in any app. Instead we need to reinstall entire applications or change registry entries with text editiors.

Hi Spas, sorry for the late reply, I didn't see your asnwer. I tried to replicate your example - and it worked without a problem! Now, what was different? Your Shape has a border. As soon as I switched of he border of my shape (with drop shadow) the problem with the non selectable picture inside returned. Can you check if you can reproduce my problem with deactivated border?

Turning off GPU Acceleration removed the bug. But now everything runs sluggish, like exspected. Is there any settting in NVIDIA Options that could cause this behaviour?

I have this problem for the past few months on Windows10 with the latest Illustrator Versions.
When zooming in an out the grid lines disappear with no identifiable logic. Sometimes the grid completly disappears, sometime only vertical or horizontal lines are visible. Sometime every second line is missing.
My first thought was Windows UI Scaling, but it's set to native 100%.
I can't be the only one with this problem... any ideas?

When I drag a picture into a shape I usually can doubleclick it afterwards to move it around inside of the mask. With the latest update this isnt possible, when it has an active dropshadow. When I double click now, it selects the path to edit.

Thanks Spas, as you mentioned, this will also copy all other stylings. Which is another massive anoyance of XD, when you just want to copy the dropshadow of an object without also changing the fill and other stylings. I whish Adobe could focus more on ease of use and basic functions, instead of adding gimmick features like 3D transform.

I know I can create a shape in Adobe XD and drag&drop an image from a folder into it and by repeating the process I can replace an existing image. What do I have to do, if I want the same result with a picture that already is in the same XD file and NOT on my hard drive? Right now I have to fiddle around with the mask of the other picture until it fits the shape of the one I want to replace. Is tehre another way or a feature I'm missing here?

I can confirm this issue. In my Case it happens with the Google Font "Rounded Mplus 1c" at 18px size, only when the canvas is at 100%. Im working on the latest Adobe XD version on Win10.

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with the concept of cloud systems and I don't blame the programmers, it's the managment. I am pretty sure, a programmer would never come to the Idea, that Illustrator should be more touch friendly. I just pointed to it, because since Adobe introduced it the cloud, they purely foccusing on that on cost of all basic features. I guarantee you, that in the next years they will add social interactions inside Photoshop, like workgroup chats, comments, emoticons and so on. Adobe really needs some real competition. I hope Affinity can do that soon.

Hahahaha, that's a good one 🙂 And next Adobe will hear out customer feedback, fix bugs and stop pumping out half finished releases. For example: I reported the bug 2 years ago, where you can't shift-duplicate a layer group right on top of itself, you always have to move it of group ahead in the hirarchy. Guess what, it's still there. Adobe is getting worse with every Version since the introduction of the "CATASTROPHIC CLOUD"
